Supreme Novices 2018

I like different approaches as well. For me, I wouldn't bet based on stats, nor would I change a strong opinion for stats, but I do like that in a game where opinions and interpretation of ability varies dramatically, that we have as many stats as we do. I enjoy reading them and will let them factor into my decision making where appropriate. The pro stat people say 'stats exist for a reason'. The stats are pointless people will say 'stats were made to be broken'. I see both as valid views.

I don't read them at all.

But I respect hose that use them and if I could see the ones that the stats say. Maybe 4 or so a race. The results would interest me.

Because I just don't see how 1 hirse regardless of age sex weight replicates other horses form different years. As that horse is a completely different horse in all aspects of ability which to me deems the stats completely pointless.

Very interested and happy to be proven wrong.

I not backed him for this race I have backed him for the old Neptune Race. Could be a very good horse next season. If The Cap Fits that is.

Plus if he did turn up for that race he be worth an each way bet as well on the day.

Mengli khan goes straight to cheltenham, not running in the deloitte.

Samcro presumably going to Deloitte as not declared on Saturday.

Typically the bookmakers have cut Samcro for this race based on his Deloitte entry, unsure myself whether it will actually make any difference to what race he goes for when he wins anyway, think it's been the Ballymore from the very beginning.

Samcro still 9/4 for Deloitte, seems a bit big
Maybe he won't appear at all at leopardstown

Reckon Elliott wants to get one over on Willie for the trainers championship, be a statement if he beats Sharjah and/or Real Steel. That said if Samcro runs and wins well then they will surely at least ponder the Supreme... the old adage of why go further than you need to with a young horse. Have had 1pt on at 100/1 for Samcro supreme Getabird ballymore

I Am new here, so I am a bit novice;y with this forum but can add a good word for Debuchet.
Am taking some more 33s especially with nr/nobet.

Just seeing the clip of Elliot has calmed me a bit - will hold off throwing a couple of points on auld Sammy for the Supreme

No harm in having a few points nrnb
If he hoses in at leopardstown and runs in supreme he will be evens
If not he surely goes ballymore and it is money back

True, only thing is he's 3s NRNB, 12s without. I'd rather take the risk without tbh, just my style

He wont go supreme but he would be even shorter if he wins this obviously

What price will Sharjah be for this if he bursts the Samcro bubble on Sunday? The current 7/1 nrnb is tempting.

What a race on Sunday, it can't come soon enough.

My head hurts... can’t decide on what I what from this race

This is a great opportunity for Samcro to live up to the hype. I want Samcro to win but if he wins well then would they be tempted to go to supreme. This would also kill off my Sharjah single AP bet and selection and makes a mess of my current thinking that Sharkah will go Supreme and Getabird+Samcro will meet in ballymore

If Sharjah wins, then it propels him to the top of the supreme market. Samcro would go to Ballymore and Id imagine Mullins would be able to get a better look at how Getabird would do against him - I’m sure they’d run Getabird against Samcro

Betting wise, I want Sharjah to win
In terms of racing, I want Samcro to show us how good he is this weekend, and confirm that he is truely a beast!

Maybe the best outcome this weekend is seeing a extremely close race between the two, leaving the whole field behind but also suggesting that Samcro would be better suited in the Ballymore - I don’t ask for much lol

Samcro to blow them away and then head to the Supreme..... It could happen:confused:

It can't. And I'm not being argumentative. There is no way on earth he'd be 10/1 and bigger for the supreme if they thought of sending him there. By all means if you think it back him. But that's money straight in t he bank for BF sportsbook.
