Must admit Debuchet was the only one out of the top five in the betting, I thought could possibly be a danger.
 
There is no doubt of WPM's ability to get enough out of these sort of horses, so for me while Getabird quite possibly isnt the horse his price suggests, I think he'll be enough to beat this field
 
I think the clue was on the weekend when Rich Ricci nominated Getabird as his nap and called him his best novice. Best Novice = Supreme to avoid Samcro.
 
My mate is working over by the Debuchet camp today. I’ll let you know of any findings

I always take what he says with a pinch of salt and wouldn't let it weigh into my calculations too much
 
Right folks. Mate has had a chat with Mags re debuchet.

This is what he’s told me

How's things mate just on my lunch here now got chatting to mags this morning only for about 15mins asked about last run and she said Danny said back to her that the horse seemed afraid as he was running, i asked afraid how? she said after the wind op they tend to be afraid that it's still going to hurt them to run... so she is expecting a massive improvement and run so I've gone ew bet and let's see how it goes....

Same. I guess it makes sense. Hopefully he realises and goes for it in the Deloitte.
 
Seen a couple of people point out on Twitter that they are unable to get much money on Getabird for the Ballymore with BetBright (the company Ricci is CEO of) yet can load up as much as they seemingly want for the Supreme, bit strange if you ask me, or do you think there is too much being read into that?

Time will tell. But I think Mr ricci is well aware he's under scrunity with that and they will make sure that it won't be seen that way

I agree, but it's already seen that way if they are restricting a customers bets for a Ricci horse in one race but not the other, surely? If they've taken all they were willing too at the current price then offer a shorter price for the same amount of money, no?

Horse is 11/4 in one race, and 8/1 the other.

If they're trying to lump on with Betbright, they're either mental, or maybe talking nonsense.

I lasted about 10 minutes with them, even though I'm a mug :highly_amused:

Can get 7/1 & 5/2 NRNB, as well.
