Supreme Novices 2018

I haven't seen anywhere that it is Scooby, have you seen anything? There seems to be quite a bit of support for him in the Tolworth, best backed horse on Oddschecker, though not sure how much I trust that data.

I don't know for sure but I'd certainly assume that would be the case logically.

Rule 4 manipulation? Surely not :devilish:

Just seen this on ruk

"Gary Moore has also declared Sussex Ranger but only as a precaution in case Chepstow's meeting is abandoned"

Same situation as we have a dream entered uo twice. Both intended to run at chepstow

Always going to be the case wasn't it? Less interested in the 3/1 for the Chepstow race to be honest, but I think he'll go very close.

I've backed him for the Chepstow race, it's money back as a free bet if 2nd (20 quid) with Skybet in essentially a 4 runner race, currently 100/30

Tolworth winner just franked the form of claimintakinforgan.

Can anyone enlighten me about kalashnikov. Is it the style of his wins???
Because I really don't get it, his forms poor in the context of a supreme.
He was ridden along to beat Irish prophesy who'd be a 100/1 shot in the supreme and I don't see him much better than summerville boy.

To be fair kalashnikov ran a decent race but can't see anything there finishing near the front of the supreme.

haven't seen the race but no mover in the market.

Not a plethora of races left to unearth an almighty market move now? Could be 4/1 the field perhaps?

No me neither. Generally is a race for horses that stay further.

Noland obviously did the double and Yorkhill would have been there or thereabouts but not
much else in recent history.

I'd second that, Summerville Boy was beaten by Mr. One More and previously by Western Ryder and Lalor, each of them could beat each other on any given day which says to me there nothing special, nothing to make us doubt our If The Cap Fits confidence Scooby, PP & Betfair have trimmed him into 8/1 joint favourite.

Lad Of Luck entered at Huntingdon on Friday, been a long wait and has all the stats to beat but hoping to see this one throw it's name in the Supreme hat which remains an unbelievably open race at this stage!

Next Destination introduced at 14/1 by Paddy Power!

Was 16s NRNB with sky. I guess that's gone?

14's with them too Kev. Seems a good price NRNB to be fair if you can get a bet on. £20 max with them for me unfortunately :(

£20! Count yourself lucky! :highly_amused:

Skybet one of the worst...

Back on topic, does the horse really scream Supreme winner?

Haha, yes lucky me :)

Im probably the wrong man to ask Innoko as I'm his number one fan. Just think he's an absolute class act. His hurdling was so slick yesterday that it could prove a real asset in the Supreme... he's not short of pace and nothing would surprise me with Willie.

I still like Mengli Khan in the Supreme, but other than him nothing really appeals. Its such an open year. And I personally believe ND is now their number one novice. Wouldnt surprise me if they gave the Deloitte a go next time and the only way I could see them choosing the Supreme is if he won that. And that being the case, he'd be fav. If he doesnt, then its NRNB.

You make a strong case CCM.

I backed in the 'any race' market a while ago on the thought that it could be either Ballymore or Potato. Never once did I think he could add to my Supreme portfolio but as you said he does hurdle very slickly, quite like Claimantakinforgan.

We shall see!

I did the exact same thing mate! He's one of my biggest bets of the week at 10/1 any race and I have a bit on for the AB, but have moreorless written that off now.

Haha! Great minds...

Like most I already have Samcro and OTBS covered for the Ballymore.

So I'm now thinking ND going here wouldn't be such a bad thing!

Yes, could work out nicely for you!

Unfortunately (for someone who has created his book for this race like a clown) he's another one I have to have covered. I'd assume he almost certainly goes for the Deloitte next and if he wins will be pushing favouritism. No reason why he shouldn't win/go very close to winning that - he's closely matched with Claimantakinforgan on last year's bumper form and takes a hurdle just as well. Visually he looks as though a strong run supreme would be perfect for him, and on his runs this year he seems to have more of a turn of foot than Claimantakinforgan
