Supreme Novice Hurdle 2019

Like him a lot too- Is he a certain runner?

it is the plan alright and his only entry, they've had opportunity to take him out, i know Tom George has said they owners have been very patient with him thus far but they ran him at last years festival so don't see why they wouldnt this year

will almost certainly be shot down here but one i like in the supreme at a massive price is The Big Bite, a winner of 4 of his 6 races, running green in pretty much all of them, was sent off 2nd fav to win the novice hurdle at Kempton over christmas that Mister Fisher won, he was giving that horse 8lbs at the time, he ran very green and made a mistake 2 or 3 out, Tom George has since said that he see no reason as to why his horse can reverse the form, he's generally 33/1 with the books but i keep chipping away on the Exchange with him, his current price there is 95.0 there...i'll be retiring if this fella wins

Excellent post Dicky. Nobody who puts cases forward in the way that you just have will get shot down, one of the reasons I love TFJF. Case made well enough for me to part with a small sum at a nearly 3 figure price.

Welcome to the forum DD
I also had a dabble at 33's earlier in the season and whilst I think that I have better options covered - I would be more than happy to get a run for my money.
I think that we are all agreed that it is fairly open and if he has learnt to settle (and can get in a clear round of jumping), then anything is possible.

With no run since, I'm not sure how Tom George could see NO REASON that The Big Bite will reverse the form?

One reason would be, he hasn't run since so there is still a chance of him still being too green and could make more jumping errors...

Good case though nonetheless. Best of luck with him.

I thought it might have maybe been a mistake & should have read ‘no reason he CAN’T reverse the form’.

Elliott said VD will be better on softer ground didn't let himself down on it at DRF despite travelling well. My book is closed for the race but 60s would be a bet if I was having one now.

Noticed VD has been backed 19.5 now.

Davy Russell on Angels Breath and Daryl Jacob on Elixir De Nutz according to tonight’s sky bet preview

You'd be thrrilled if you're in Mister Fisher or Angel's Breath....

Just put my SkyBet on Mister Fisher. Obvious shortener come decs

I genuinly don't think Nico will have CHOSEN Mister Fisher though....

Russell used to be retained by Dai Walters.... who has bits to do with them..... I reckon gfetting Davy on was a huge part, and Nico will do what he's told!

Positive for both :)

Henderson said he was going to ask him to make up his mind the other night (nico)

... they didn't let Nico make his mind up then scrabble around to see who else was free.

Russell for Angel's Breath - I'm buzzing about it

Me too! Have Davy as top jockey, what a start that would be.

that's why they pressed him so they could get on with it.
