Supreme Novice Hurdle 2019

Maybe I'm mad but I agree with you however I get the feeling that Mullins number 1 could be Tornado Flyer for this race and Carefully Selected or Dorrells Pierji split between Ballymore and Albert Bartlett. If you look at the horse Take Revenge, Dorrells beat him by 26 L.
and Tornado Flyer beat him by 3 L. giving 3lb so on that piece of form Dorrells is 20 L. ahead so would make sense for Dorrells for the Ballymore. Sorry I have to go there's a couple of men with white coats at the door.

The last part makes the most sense.

Hope your well soon.

Dorrells Pierji looks one for the AB. Coughing after last race.

For those still holding out hope, Annamix is entered up next week over 2m 1/2f @ Down Royal, and in having that entry there has been a small amount of support for him on the exchanges, literally a few quid, but from 44 down to 27.

Nice one CoD. Not giving up on him just yet... win this impressively and he could still be right in the mix in an open looking year.

It would be great if he won as the Supreme market seriously needs a injection , I was going to cash bet in but Im a stubborn barsteward ,hopefully I get a run for my money at least.

I still haven't cashed out anything ... was planning on cashing out all the novices on Monday evening .... regardless of if 365 have gone NRNB or not. Got to have a deadline.... so if Annamix is declared for Tuesday I'll leave it and let him run probably!

The 2 miler at the Dublin racing festival likely to have a big impact on the supreme market . 1 could go silly. Especially IF it's 1 if the unexposed ones in vision d'honneur / klassical dream/ or elixir d'anaiy

as you say, if will have a significant impact on the supreme market whatever happens, but this year it would be silly to ignore the unconventional routes to the festival due to the mild winter.

I can't believe it's 25th Jan and the Supreme favourite has only jumped 4 hurdles on the track.

This division is bananas

Ive played in race to pennies at decent prices but can honestly say I cant fathom out a strong fancy in race that id be prepared to go overboard on and put my house on it. Annamix , Angels Breath ,Blackbow ,Felix Dejsy and Triplicate so far but far from confident.

Jackie, I know you haven’t mentioned it much but you must be delighted by Mister Fisher’s turnaround since debut (not that it was a terrible start). Managed to get a little bit on at 50s before his debut, which I fortunately wasn’t able to lay off before his next start. I know you never lost hope and see he was matched as big as 140s, hope you got some of the big prices

Annamix being entered up at Down Royal is probably a wasted entry- Willie doesn't run many there at their average meetings. Perhaps he feels rushed to get him out, but if he does run, i'd actually be more negative on his chances.

I’m certainly happier now for sure although I’m always a very balanced gambler and don’t get ahead of myself. He was one of the first on my 2019 ante post shortlist so it’s nice that he came good after an uninspiring start. A lot of my early season picks started averagely but have since come good as I’ve also been on Lostintranslation before his debut too.

Good stuff pal, sounds like they want him to have one more run, so hopefully that will go well and he’ll line up with a live chance

At the end of the day when backing horses pre-season I will take just having a run in the right race :highly_amused:

I don’t have much on as singles as I really just have fun and try to land a big multiple. It’s a dream but it keeps me interested through the season and means I don’t have to tie up large amounts of funds until March. If Mister Fisher was to win then it does trigger some very tasty multiples that may see my usually balanced approach become more excited.

You'll need to talk me through that one?

If he runs and wins an average race well, you'd be negative?

There are other horses from other yards (Mister Fisher / Vision D'honour ) that bounced back from a debut defeat that are now well fancied.

I'm not writing off this horse yet .... I'm pleased be had an entry, positive!

Wouldn’t be negative about any entry; Willie has plenty of horses he needs to get runs into so he’ll have to take them where he can

Extra Mag out again tomorrow would be 2 of 2 without a stumble while in control, only quoted on the exchanges at 3 figures but may ensure when he wins tomorrow
