Supreme Novice Hurdle 2019

I want Annamix to run more than any horse in training I think...

Starting to wonder whether he actually exists or is just a myth!

For two years worth of hype he better be in the vautour/douvan league or I’ll feel a little short changed!

He'll be out soon in an easy maiden then on to the Moscow flyer.

LOL!

The horse couldn't care less about his reputation, unfortunately that is what his connections bring to the table.

Of course, I'd love him to be that special, but nothing is guaranteed.

The poor horse hasn't made the track yet and he's pretty much a failure already. He could turn out to be a very decent G3 OR G2 horse and in most people's eyes he will not have lived up to the hype.

Pretty much will need to be Faugheen with wings to please the hype followers:devilish:

I was being a bit tongue in cheek there! I pretty much agree with everything jack said

.....but we do know he's worked better than last year's crop and this year's ....

That alone justifies excitement... Mullins' novices usually set the standard so if this one is his best at home, he's going to have to justify the hype.

They played down Min and Melon. They have not played down Annamix (yet)

Work's work though! Last year's two milers weren't his best, for all he still had Getabird + Draconien...this years are still in the lap of the gods!

Yeah I know work is work.... I just want to see him, that's all I said :highly_amused:

Are you saying you're NOT excited that a horse that's better than Getabird at home is going to make his debut? (and potentially better than the bumper horses last year like Tornado Flyer)

All I was saying is that I am more excited to see his highly anticipated debut in the hope he lives up to the hype... because he could be a superstar. Not going to apologise for wanting the next Superstar to roll along :p

And if he is and he pisses in with us all on at 20's - so much the better, eh Kev?

Willie seemed to like Come to Me's performance on Sunday, he was asked about another horse and decided to mention this one.
It did it well enough

There would certainly worse ways to start a festival :p

On a slighter wider point, if [people] consider it shrewd to back a horse you are certain will shorted based on FOMO from the rest of the population, he's impossible to have avoided.

It'd take more discipline (and to be fair, a completely different approach to ante-post) for me not to have backed Annamix. Does me having a bet alter how excited I am to see him? Yes 100%... but I don't care.

I check this forum every morning praying someone hasn’t shared a post of him out injured again. He is definitely the one I have been most excited about in seeing.

Would be a nice start to festival week if he storms home

He was a horse i really liked straight after his bumper win on the same day two years before. I was down at Cork watching Listen Dear + we had been given him as a big fancy from the yard.....yet he drifted to like 4s.

I would hope he could be very good, as i thought he'd do well in the Cheltenham Bumper before not going....jsut depends how much ability he retains, on first sign a fair bit.

I know a fair few people (myself included) have bets on Eldorado Allen in this: I was told on Saturday at Sandown by a source I have a lot of respect for that those connected to the Tizzards have a significant ante-post position on this horse in the Supreme. Happy about this is it means they obviously rate him, but even happier that it means it would take a seriously strange set of circumstances for him to run in the Ballymore instead.

I appreciate I have absolutely no track record on here at all - very few posts indeed - so you can take the above with a pinch of salt, of course, but given all the excellent nods from other forum members on here, thought I'd share and you can make up your own minds.

Cheers for the info, no reason to doubt it as it ties in with the price going across the board the weekend before last 33s into 20s

Nothing wrong with putting up things like that, in that context, Coneygree15.

Disappointed not to see DOWNTOWN GETAWAY tomorrow..
