Stayers Hurdle 2020

I couldn’t have him at 16s after his performances this season. If he gets a run over hurdles between now and the festival then he might be more interesting. Does anyone know of any plans for a prep or is he going straight there?

Get what you’re saying but a good prep and then what price ?

Couldn’t leave him unbacked in this , not with the monies running onto PP that I have

I couldn't have City Island at all. In fact I couldn't have anything against PP. He is simply too good for anything around at this current time and will prove it Saturday if all goes to plan. He is a real gutsy horse with attitude and a shed load of class. Everything you could ever want in a Stayers horse. Enjoy him while he's about and don't bother trying to find anything to take him on with. It's not all about profit. Horses/stories rarely come along like him and his owner. When they do, we all need to embrace it and get behind them, not live in hope that they'll get beat and let the moment pass us by. He'll turn out to be a staying legend. Enjoy every minute.

When did you turn into Reverend Al Sharpton ?
And you do know you've just used a paragraph don't you ?

“It’s not all about profit “ says the man who has £100:on Honeysuckle and laid it off on the CH just in case!

Words fail me with you on occasions
:devilish:

Apologies. I do love this sport with a passion.

Not really sure what races would suit this close to the festival. Probably the Galmoy hurdle? It all seems a bit of an rushed decision to change the plan so late.

You have me all wrong. I'd go to the festival if there was no betting. The punting is secondary for me. Always has been.

Nobody can decry anyone about their passion for anything :)

Hope you’re feeling better now you’ve vented ? :highly_amused:

Re read posts and nobody was knocking PP

Absolutely. Treat it like a hobby and not a business and well all enjoy it.

Never said anyone was knocking him, just want everyone to take a step back and realize the horse in front of them first rather than just scratching around for something to beat him.

I chucked a tenner on City for Champion at big prices, but that was after one run, and won't be getting on him here. If he wins, I'll just have to suffer.

Sooner have someone in the room peeling onions in the room when Paisley does the business again :)
