The same comment would easily apply to nichols canyon /uknowhatimanharry and penhill. Same 2 races at punchestown and chelt.

Yeah, that doesn't mean it's stronger form yet. They still have to go and prove it... and I've backed them both
Scooby that doesn't mean that BO or KS's form is the best on offer though just following a trend from couple of horses of previous years does it?

Yeah, that.

If samcro has ran aparrently 20 pounds below his best this season. And he's Jesus reincarnated.

What is black op to a few stayers?

Do you believe that though ?
Or was the ballymore average ?
I'd go with average as not seen anything to suggest otherwise.

What if they decide fuck it Samcro has been working hurdles let’s throw him in here thoughts?

I wouldn't fancy samcro for anything as he's either not good enough or there's something wrong with him.
But I've seen horses come back before.

To win the race?

Paisley park gets beat in the cleeve by black op imo.

Kevloaf seems to be dismissing the best uk hurdles form on offer. From black op / kilbricken storm.

Kilbricken storm is coming in with very simular form to penhill, the only difference being he's ridden prominently. he's plenty of pace and hates soft / heavy, so not a clue where that comes from. Watch punchestown

Black op speaks for himself. Tip top hurdles form. Hopefully he dosent hit the last this time as it cost him against santini and samcro. The trip is no problem what so ever.

Both leading contenders imo.

I was trying to think where the pace angle lies.

Midnight Shadow is Pricewise.

Cut to 10/1 on the back of that. Crickey! (16/1 about...)

Unexposed at 3 miles I guess was the angle, which is obvious as he's not run at that distance, but he doesn't look short for speed, I expdect he's more of a mid range trip horse.

No way I'd chance him each way at 16/1 - there are horses with more proven stamina that you know will be there at the finish.

With the Stayers Hurdle entries coming out soon and looking at the potential shorteners in the market, Bet365 are offering Yanworth at 33/1 NRNB.

Surely he would be a candidate to shorten up the most of any (if entered) and would have an outside chance if he turned up fit, hopefully with a prep before if possible.

Is Sutton Place in training? Beat Supasundae twice giving him weight. Beat Kemboy in a beginners chase. Wonder what the plan is with him...

He is.... plans hurdles.
Wouldn't run on decent ground.

I wonder if on the blind side will get an entry in the cleeve hurdle and go down this route.

I dont think he has been same horse since appearing to break down at Punchestown in 2017

I’ll 100% have something on Faugheen for this.

Maybe it’s me heart ruling my head. Sentiment ain’t good for betting. But he’s obviously classy, has some top form when beating penhill and can you imagine him winning it? I really could. And I’d love to see it. He’s earnt another crack at Cheltenham for me over the years.

+1!

Id love AJ to go here and have both backed. But im going in again with Faugheen! Also having another nibble on Wholestone ew, loves a place so he does!

Henderson doesn't see him as a staying type though, more likely to go for the Aintree hurdle race than this?

You might get a wild price though nrnb

Think that view might be changing, after his Cheltenham run...

On The Blind Side was unfortunately very ring rusty on his Chase debut last week and after giving the first fence abit of a nudge he was on the back foot thereafter and Nico just schooled him around for the rest of the way. He was never any threat whatsoever but galloped strongly to the line (albeit well beaten) so on that evidence you’d have to think maybe he looks like he wants three miles

Thanks, I better read that blog actually, with actual information in it, rather than this forum :highly_amused:

Seems quite a flippant and irrational response though?

Then again, I thought OTBS was a 3 miler last year and Henderson seemed to think not.

It's almost like he doesn't consider my opinions.

I did PM the owner after I posted that.
To which he replied

" i would imagine definitely not"

Spell that out for me, what did you ask? My own post doesn't even make sense to me now.
