Ryanair 2020

Is anyone on Real Steel?

Oh, I am.

Fuck you all :highly_amused:

Shit, Quevega is as well :mad-new:

Footpad is poor. Real Steel is a grade 2 horse that is his level and he is good at his level. He isnt a grade 1 horse however.

He's 7 and looks like he's improving.

Just a heads up for everyone, horse's improve with age then start getting slower as they get even older.
It's the top of the peak that's hard to judge and will differ with each individual, but there are reasonable markers and being 7 is a good one. So is being 12.
Just in case anyone has forgot.

I reckon A Plus Tard could come 3rd in a
King george

Right handed form:

2 1/4 Ls behind Winter Escape with a stone.
14 1/2 behind Delta Work getting 5
nk behind dr mikey getting 6.

I wouldnt be sure but you never know.

On a line through Aso :highly_amused::rolleyes:
He's a shoe in.
Steel toe capped shoe at that.

Collateral form he wins. :hopelessness: we are all guilty at times of over-optimistic reading of form, to match our opinion. :encouragement:

Its obviously an after thought but wasnt getting beat 3.75L lengths by Min much better form that Footpads KG 3rd? Fancied Real Steel today but been out all day.

The Aso line was just highlighting a contradiction.

I definitely wasn't saying Footpad would win the Ryanair because he finished ahead of Aso in the King George?

The fact I'm having to explain this is shocking :highly_amused:

I think scooby has forgotten that apt is only a 6yr old and could still have bags of improvement to come whether cps is overrated or not

Based on 0 and 3
2nd @ 15/8
2nd @ 5/2
5th @ 7/2

So Min can't win at Cheltenham because he's been placed twice from 3 festival runs.

One of the worst cases I have ever seen made.

You must be winding me up?

I personally feel Min is best on a flat track

Come on Kev? Wouldn't you prefer the race to be at Aintree? Hates that Hill!

Yep, I was being sarcastic.
Different days and different races, it's not always easy to match up (more often than not it don't)

I know you weren't (seriously) - but thanks for explaining anyway :highly_amused:
Your contradiction point was valid and amusing.

I don't think you can say a horse that has come 2nd in a Grade 1 Supreme and a Grade 1 QMCC hates the hill.

Read what you're asking me.

Do I think a horse HATES the hill, who's finished ahead of all these horses at Cheltenham that also have festival winning or placed form... Buveur D'air, Supasundae, Politigloue, Douvan, Petit Mouchoir, Bellshill.

Ruling a horse out of winning at Cheltenham, because they've been placed twice is bonkers.
