Ryanair 2020

Hope you were fast 15/8 already haha....your 5pts has panicked them :p

Too right it panicked them ;)

Off to Dublin to surprise the wife for her 30th in the morning - will pay for a Guinness at least.

Hoping can get her to consider the Morgiana being a great way to spend the day on Sunday :highly_amused:

Scenes when you persuade her to go and then find out the Morgiana was the day before :devilish:
Enjoy and nice one on Douvan :encouragement:

Hahahhaha ffs

Karma that is for mocking you.

Top Notch going for the Peterborough and Janika the Tingle Creek according to Nicky's latest blog.

Didn't have a penny on Douvan yesterday, but how good was that? Absolute joy to watch such a great back winning races. Long way to go to get him to Cheltenham winning level, but if anyone can, Willie can and it was the perfect starting point.

Pleased for Rich Ricci too. After a couple of quiet years he could have some really good chances with Chacun Pour Soi, Min and Douvan if they can all stay fit and well.

Just hope CPS stays fit as no chance of Min and Douvan both going for the Ryanir unless he does!

Wouldn't be too sure CCM. Remember they (Min and Douvan) both ran in the Champion Chase 2 years back.
And followed that up at Punchestown a month after (albeit Mullins and Elliott were going all out for the trainers title so every horse was running anywhere!)

Mullins won't be setting too many targets at the best of time but a fairly fragile CPS, Douvan coming back from a couple who has had issues since 2017 and Min who has at times been the bridesmaid. It'll be an achievement if all 3 make it in full health and top form come March

I agree he won't be setting any targets, and also agree its going to be hard enough getting them all there fit and well jono.

But assuming he does, you'd have to think its fairly certain CPS and Cilaos Emery are his QMCC horses which would leave Min and Douvan for the Ryanair at this stage.

Willie can say what he likes but I'm pretty sure that fitness permitting, CPS is his QM horse and Douvan will smash out in the Ryanair and try to do a Vautour and run the rest into the ground. It would be some sight to see, so it would but what are the chances he stays sound?

There's your Ryanair winner lads

Defi wins Ryanair. Beautiful horse.

Getting weight off Politologue, not sure it was as good as it seems.

We didn’t know what to expect when he went for the Clonmel Oil Chase on Thursday considering how long he had been off the track, so we were absolutely delighted to see him win so well. Plans will depend on how he comes out of the race, but it was a very encouraging effort. He might not quite attain the heights he scaled in the past but on Thursday’s evidence there should be more good days to come if he stays right. He’s in the John Durkan and the King George, and will have other entries over Christmas. Whether we stick to 2m4f, try him over 3m or go back to 2m is very much up in the air.

2m4f round Prestbury Park is perfect for him

RPR was 167.....best so far and not far off what needed for top G1 races......was only 3 pounds against horse who almost beat Altior

I liked it for first run of season and def following him wherever

That turn of foot for DDS up the hill is the difference, whilst others start to drop down a gear he pounces like he did in the JLT and hit top gear. His jumping is my only concern but as long as Geraghty can stay fit I think they can win either CC or Ryanair with or without Altior, CPS, Douvan involved. CPS has not experienced the Cheltenham Hill yet and probably won’t until the day and I think Altior & Douvan will get out paced coming up the hill if DDS improves on that yesterday.
