Ryanair 2019

Why, is she training Min now?????:highly_amused::highly_amused:

Haha

Because never be afraid of one horse Kev? Last year the race was basically run in heavy which swayed it even more in Altiors favour. One of these days hitting a flat spot on better ground is going to cause an unassailable deficit, could it be in the champion chase? Besides, if Footpad is as well as they say he should win the Ryanair?

Never be afraid of one horse, easy for you to say though.

You aren't Ruby Walsh/Willie Mullins/Owner with a realistic Cheltenham chance.

What I or you would do, doesn't matter, we have enough evidence to show that they will place the horse in the race they think is easiest to win.

If Footpad is as well as they said, his Arkle win entitles him to go for the QMCC, he's not got form anywhere near as good over further?

I don't care which of them goes which way, they won't beat Altior unless he falls, I think Min would come 2nd for sure. Footpad probably I'd fancy for 2nd anyway...

I actually don’t fancy Min in this race

You think Min has a chance against Altior (hitting a flat spot) but don't think he can win the Ryanair?

I think you need an amount of class to be considered to do the first, and that entitles him to have the same class to do the second

Ruby:
Will Min take on Altior again at Cheltenham? I don’t know. You can only win the race that is in front of you and he picked up well from the back of the last and won pretty much as he liked in the Dublin Chase.

Had Altior not been around, he would have won a Supreme Novices’ Hurdle and the Champion Chase last year.

We know Min gets two and half miles and he has that option of going out in trip. Whether we try and make it third time lucky against Altior is one for nearer the time and again depends on the ground.

The NRNB e/w double on the two, both ways, looks fair.

Highlighted before Min won at the weekend I might add.

Amidst the misery ...

@jpnorris

The world may literally have to end before Waiting Patiently gets the chance to run on soft ground again.

Horses welfare paramount but there surely comes a time to grab the bull by the horns?

He ran in the king George. What more does anyone want, the ascot chase has always been the target afterwards. If he dosent go there by all means have a moan. Politologue has done the same. So its hard to see an issue. Other than a vendetta against the trainer.

Everyone knows And has been told countless times that they don't want to run him on decent ground at Cheltenham. That's the choice of connections. And they can do as they please.

No vendetta Scoob, frustration
I love the horse

Why change trainers? I'd say Kim Bailey is doing a brilliant job with Vindication.

+1

I'm sick of all the stick trainers and jockeys are getting. Just have a look at Sam England's Twitter timeline and see the what some morons are emailing these trainers.

Just to add to that that's in no way aimed at " humble pie" in particular.
But the ammount of stick waiting patiently and connections get on this thread. Is hard to fathom.

Percy has ran in 1 hurdle race. Avoided all the graded chases even the ones where the ground was fine for him. Yet aparrently the trainers a genius.

She goes straight to the king George on gd to soft. And gets alot of stick trading through this thread.

criticism is like anything else.
It's better when it's fair. And not moronic.
And preferably something you'd say to someone in person with good reasoning.
It's fair comment to criticise Jefferson.

to be fair scooby, a lot of the criticism aimed at Ruth is around what she spouts to journalists. Mr Kelly says bugger all.

No offence taken Scoob but I’m not vitriolic in my comments just stating an opinion
Politologue has raced 20 times and Waiting Patiently 10 times
Frustrated by not seeing a horse I love not as often as I would have liked
What happened in King George was unfortunate and i thought travelling v nicely at the time
We all have preferences, RJ is not mine is all I’m saying .

I'll have to Google that and get back to you.

But that's fair enough.

among the Trainers , Doesn't have Many runners , :highly_amused:,
But a very tidy profit on the one's she does.
