Ryanair 2019

Probably be Gigginstown's first string on the day in it... 20/1 hasn't tempted me in yet though

You couldn't run a previous Gold Cup winner in the Ryanair though could you?

You just couldn't?

12/1 the NRNB price... just not big enough to bother with?

It’s not that long since one finished third in the stayers :devilish:

The Racing Post Ante post podcast completely dismiss Min as not running here.

They get paid to work in racing and to talk about it.

Unreal

One of them picked Waiting Patiently because you KNOW he's going to run.

:very_drunk:

Fuck sake. I'm not sure if it's going downhill or the more I learn in the sport the more obvious they talk complete shite

The latter probably (hopefully).

Peversley I like listening to them to re-affirm I have an edge :highly_amused:

:highly_amused:. Tbf every time I hear Tom Segal speak and I look at his P/L compared to mine I am left reassured I am approaching the game in the right way

good old Ruthie pulling WP out of DF due amazingly to ground conditions. Clerk of the course states it'll be G/S but no good for the horse of glass. Soft at the festival no good for the horse of glass.
Why doesn't she put it in a museum? she could sit on a stool and say, roll-up roll-up, come and see a grade2 chase winner who I can't find a surface to race him on..........:highly_amused::highly_amused:

The Doctors in good form :highly_amused:

Maybe arrange a match race with Sizing John.

Doctorwu, to be fair it's good on the chase course now. Obviously there's unsettled weather incoming, but travelling a horse over the water when uncertain about what the going will be seems fairly pointless.

Though, to be fair, you'd wonder what the point of entering was in the first place- it was always going to be touch + go groundwise.

Post of the week :highly_amused:

Will Min go any shorter for this? This looks a cracking race with who all is expected to line up, Min like many have noted before has just been unlucky to take on Altior all the time!! Should I go in again Min 9/2? Or will WM throw a spanner in works and go for CC and come 2nd to Altior... Again!

Min settled like a dream and hacked up. Roll on the ryanair

Certainly settles much better now. Richi Ricci (for what it's worth) has doubts whether he'll stay 2m5 round Cheltenham.
Personally think he'll be more than fine here.

The key will be a strong pace. If they get that then I can easily the same outcome as today, Ruby settles and stalks the leader(s) then takes it up and breezes past. Hopefully they'll run UdS to give him that like Saint Calvados today

Bit annoyed with Ordinary World there as wanted him in the Grand Annual, he'll probably get a rise for that I suspect.

I really like waiting patiently for this years ryanair. He went of fav or 2nd fav for the king George and was travelling really nicely before being brought down. If he was with one of the big trainers he’d be much shorter imo.
