RSA Chase 2019

Mine is a small speculative bet , a while ago , Just a feeling that joseph O'brien will be a trainer to follow at some time
in the future.

Just took 28/1 any race, on
THE WORLDS END
With the 4 miler in mind. Has plenty of top grade hurdles experiance and some classy back form with the likes of monalee.

With Heskin being a retained rider I'd have thought they'd be more likely to keep the partnership in tact than go 4 miler.

I see jono likes him on the any race thread too :encouragement:

I like him as a horse, anything softer than good spring ground and the bet is likely to be up in smoke though

Keeper Hill ran in it last year. Although this lads a fair bit better than him.
Day 1 gd to soft. What can go wrong.

I also took the 28/1 (boosted) - now 16/1 for the RSA with B365 but the 25/1 any race with Lads is still available.
TWE didn't get his ground all of last season but with decent ground I think he's a live contender

I'd been looking at him for a little while at 25s. Was a bit annoyed after he won and i saw blue on oddschecker that id missed out. But pleasantly suprised to see that the any race price was still there last night with lads

Does anyone know if Lads or Coral are doing any race chelt bets in shop please

The any race markets do seem to be slow to be updated which is good for ante post players.

I added at 28/1 last night and would like to see him in the Ultima rather than RSA but he does have a grade 1 novice hurdle in his back catalogue that would give you plenty of hippie he may make the top grade over fences too

Happy to leave The Worlds End alone for now. He was entitled to win the way he did yesterday IMO, and done nothing I wouldn't have expected him to do. Whilst 28/1 is a nice price, unless he actually heads down the handicap route, which I find unlikely, I wouldn't want him in my book for the graded races.

I do think they way he jumped was really good first time up, have also backed him at 28/1 any race.
A friend recommend backing lil Rockefeller in this race as he has decent cheltenham form and you know what you'll get with him.....I just think he'll get outclassed though, looks a hot RSA at this stage.

Tell your friend Lil Rockerfeller isn't good enough to win a race at the Cheltenham Festival ... he's another 'public horse' that the media seem to think everybody loves out of the blue.

Nothing to dislike about the horse but they way people gush about him is odd.

I have to admit iv always really liked lil Rockefeller, his never say die attitude. Was always scrubbed along a mile out since being a juvenile but keeps finding.

Lil Rockerfeller loses too much ground jumping fences to make a mark at the highest level imo.

I can see both sides :). Very well placed - has won just over £429K. You wouldnt mind having him. @festivalracing seems popular (and canny) in his own right and a good racing follow.

Can't fault the man for a very small owner stumping up 75,000 that hed won in prize money throughout the season to supplement him for the champion hurdle. Just because he diddnt want to go to sleep the rest of his life thinking what if.......

Crazy idea but I get the reasoning and it worked out ok. Even though he was scrubbed along a mile out

Agree with this,
Handicap route is unlikely also given his hurdle rating is 155.
He'll Do well (or would rather need to run badly to lower this much)

I have done one so far Billymag , Don't think it's any problem. I usually write my bet out and tell them the Prices .
Only one allowed in a multi bet ...... think Kev told us about this.
Some shops check the prices , but i am a regular and no gain in cheating i think.

Next Destination is my Horse of the week !!, Can't walk past coral or w.hill without sticking a bit more on
for this race @ 10-1.And Willie has been Speaking highly of N.D.

Possible answer on Next Destination's target, if anyone had one, PP &B Betfair cut him to 7's from 10's for this tonight!

That is short - I'd still prefer the 20s about Cracking Smart than 10s ND this far out.

If Next Destination and Draconien are the two novice hurdles Ruby is name dropping then dare I say, MAYBE they didn't have a stellar crop of novice hurdlers?!
