RSA Chase 2019

I wouldn't go overboard with that tbh. Amd iv a fair ammount on him at a fancy price. It was a decent introduction.

First time out in a Grade 2 over fences, have a day off mate :devilish:

What does everyone make of Kilbricken Storm? He was very disappointing and I wonder if they'll be thinking of hurdles after that, doesn't look like he enjoys fences at all to my eye.

Only LBAR to beat :highly_amused:

Iv 6 pts on santini at 21/1 And nothing on la bague au roi as it stands. I wouldn't be sure he beats her as she goes some gallop and he was tentative at a few there.

What price would you take for 2020 Gold Cup?

I see him as a 4 miler myself, as have posted in this & the NH Chase threads previously. Looks a galloper, the RSA is a bit more pacey and he won't have that zip to go with them. He won the Bartlett being pretty prominent throughout on soft/heavy, he won it well too.

The stayers is an option but I don't honestly think he'll have the pace for it myself.

He'd carry her around and place her gently over the finishing line.
18 fences, one mistake and only asked after the last and he set off again.
better opposition next time and we'll see, but my eyes tell me that was very good indeed.
And I've not got much on him at all.

I'm not knocking him at all, he was good. We'll learn alot more when he steps up and they go an end to end gallop.

Sky were 40-1 the last few weeks in their Request a Bet NH section, which I’ve had a few goes at. They were 50-1 RSA/2020 Gold Cup double

I'd take 40/1. I wanted 100/1 for the double.

Santini looks an absolute tank! Reminds me of Denman.

Hopefully will confirm Kilbricken Storm as being a NH Chase horse now as won't be getting near Santini @ the festival.

He reminded me of Denman as well CoD, he just looked different class to those at every stage during that race.

The Ladbrokes Trophy will be in their mind for next season already.

Suit's me F.M , i've got a 40-1 ticket for the stayers hdl.

Santini is my biggest bet of the week so was absolutely delighted with that. Especially as he looks certain to be better on better ground. Absolutely laden with stamina. I think you'd expect him to be novicey at a few on debut, but overall I thought he jumped very safely albeit not electric. But Id gladly take that of the two for this race.

I loved that debut from Santini today. What a brute of a horse. Agree on the Denman comparisons. Just ozzes absolutely class and quality. And doesn't get going until the business end of races.

Once the RequestaBet comes back up from Sky i'll be hoping for the 40's/50's (i'be lucky?!) for the Gold Cup 2020 that's for sure
