Punchestown Gold Cup prices:

13/8 Kemboy
7/4 Al Boum Photo
5/1 Bellshill
14/1 Bar

I fancy Bellshill for this. I'll wait to see what price other firms offer before taking 5/1. Only Paddy Power and Betfair available at the minute as far as I can see.

Unlikely Ruby will ride him if he did run so probably not an ante post selection anyway. Would have to be 3rd string on the day so no rush.

I can't see him beating either of the others if they ran to form but it's not a bold or bullish shout.

A general question here, Do you really need to book in advance for Punchestown,
or is it possible to buy tickets on the day ??.

on the day is fine.

Punchestown is on my bucket list

Will be backing Douvan if he turns up

Anyone know if there’s an antepost market for Punchestown? Keen to get Carefully Selected onside for the 3m Hurdle...

16/1 PP and Betfair SB.

Spotted that myself today Archie, overpriced if you ask me considering he will be peaking for the race after sidestepping the AB. Punchestown always water to keep the ground safe. Will snap up some of that in the shop tomorrow morning & probably double up with the 33/1 about the RSA!

As ever, the problem is deciding which horses go in which race. At least Punchestown is the last big meeting of the season so there's every chance that he'll run as many horses as are fit.

You have to laugh at the Champion Chase odds. 15 entries and Willie's 6 are the only ones at single figure prices. Be interesting to see the forfeits on the 25th.

Anyone know when there will be a market for the land rover bumper?

He's shortened up a lot (CS). Personally surprised Allaho isn't shorter for the 2m4 hurdle. I thought that would be right up his street.

CS into 6/1 for the 3miler now, the potential of good ground would worry me slightly but that’s about it! Willie’s horses will be cleaning up at Punchestown, that I’m sure of after such a quiet/cautions winter.

Entries and forfeits for the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - noon on Thursday the 25th.

I backed a double with a PP free bet a few weeks ago. Carefully Selected (16/1) and Chacon Pour Soi (6/1). Starting to get a little excited!
