PERTEMPS NETWORK FINAL Handicap Hurdle

Him running off 158 would give dunboyne a nice low weight on his back

I was just coming here to ask if we thought JP had a plot that needed Sire to run - I'd be surprised if Sire ran for Dunboynes benefit given they have different owners?

It was more of a statement suggesting it would benefit dunboyne if SDB ran not saying that SDB is running for dunboynes benefit

I think there's a bit of smokescreening going on Thorne. Some of his qualified horses I'd be sure go to other races. His MO with win and place horses for the Pertemps is remarkably similar each year, so by understanding the past you can fairly closely predict which ones will be targeted here I think.

Similarly his MO for the Coral Cup, the Pipe, and horses that don't go to the Festival at all is similar each season. It's not completely foolproof of course, but you'd be right barring the odd exception.

ya - antepost season all that makes sense, my point/opinion was more regarding the stage where decs are more or less known and he has decisions to make in order to let others in.

As ye say GE probably has all that mapped out in advance though - it seems to be one of his biggest attributes tbf

Not surprisingly only SDB left in of the Elliott clan. The games afoot.

Is there a reason the cashout for Dunboyne is suspended for this race with bet365?

….’win today & Pertemps’ offers from Sky;

Riggs 50-1
Sporting John 50-1
Alaphillipe 66-1
SDB 80-1

These races remind me of the Olympic track qualifying rounds where athletes just want to get through using least effort.

He'll finish between 4th and 6th tomorrow if the Pertempts is back on the agenda.

With a claimer he will be near enough the same mark he won off 2 yrs back.
2nd in stayers last year
loves the course
