November ‘24 Yankee

Just went to Corals to back Monmiral, they said they aren't offering prices on the race in shop, online only...

I will ask at my local corals Ista , next time i'm there .. see if that's right ..

Many thanks.
I'm in there several times a week and know the Manager so I didn't question what he told me even if it was the first time I've come across it...

I think we should throw in Galopin now he's gone 4-1 after a very pleasing return over 2 and a half miles. He comes out at Christmas and wins, that price contracts.

OK 4-1 is tight but we're in the season proper now. He could be a banker leg.

Yep, I’ve stuck him in a couple of multiples myself at 4/1
2 time winner that’s just run well first time out.
Just cannot see anything but a shorter price come March, and probably be fav.

Might also be worth looking at C Hill at his current price.Ok, some risk involved, but this is called gambling!!
Come March, if he turns up,he ain’t 5/1 that’s available now!! Probably odds on fav.

GDC is well worth putting in
So is Constitution Hill at 5-1 - much better proposition than state man imo.
And with ballyburn looking like staying at 2miles there’s likely value in horses like Caldwell potter at 20-1 and dancing city 10-1

Agree with GDC, ConHill and I also like ElFab for the Ryanair now that Willie has mentioned going up in trip and namechecking the race as a possibility. You could throw in a shorty such as Teahupoo or Brighterdaysahead(MH) or something at a bigger price but race is known such as Romeo Coolio or Salvator Mundi.

….whikst I understand claims for GDC, I’m not sure I’d be considering CH even at 5-1 with his recent fragility. We have him in one Yankee, I’d be looking at other races.

Dancing City at 10/1 for the BANC

A genuine chance of being the fav for the race and at least half the price he is now

If we judged every horse by that, it'd rule a few bad bets out at least :distracted:

….in his stable tour, whilst Mullins name-checked a few for the Arkle, but from what I could see he only mentioned BANC once and it was in respect of Dancing City;

”He looks tailor-made for the staying division over fences and a ready-made Brown Advisory contender. He won three Grade 1 novice hurdles last spring and that feat is not easily achieved. He split Ballyburn and Slade Steel one day in a bumper at Punchestown and I remember being a bit disappointed with him. In retrospect, when you look at what beat him and what was third, it was a cracking run. It just goes to show you should never be disappointed with how your horse runs in a bumper, as you never really know what you are up against.”

MoM has said previously he likes this one so he must be high on his list for inclusion this month. I’m guessing 3 in the bag :barbershop_quartet_member:

GDC GC
Dancing City BANC
Leau du Sud Ark (based on MoMs previous post, although Ballyburn has run since).

I put a bet on this morning for the Pertemps , Ista .., at my local Corals , It appears the pertemps isn't up on the inshop computer .
But the manager took my bet as he could see it up on oddschecker . and i told him it's up on my p.c. @ corals .
if theres any problem he will let me know.
I wonder if they are just a bit slow updating as sunday was the race for the horse for my bet. ??.

OK thanks BC, much appreciated.
I need to do a Paddys run tomorrow so will head via Corals too...

Gaelic for champion chase now looks solid enough at 4-1 with the news he's likely to be kept at shorter and scratched from KG.
Sounds like El Fab is going down the ryanair route, so he's willies main dart with energumene the romantic option.
His form is solid enough also.
