National Hunt Challenge Cup Amateur Riders' Novices' Chase

Looks like bookies just cottoning on to Champagne Classic being about a stone clear of anything else that's qualified in this race.
Assuming that one or two of the others will be going RSA.

been docked a point by most of them today.
Wonder if Gavin has spotted it or Hugh ? or the bloke from RP.

Should Early doors get the place tomorrow then he should be straight in to single figures really.
33-1 a no brainer bet.

Nice to see Early Doors declared for 3m1 tomorrow. Decent possibility he could rock up here with a popular jockey onboard.

Happy days. Had him in the book for a while and been waiting for his first crack to qualify.

Joined the party at 33s. Could be a big shortner like No Comment with top jockey onboard but a better horse

Good to see a few joining the Early doors party , was getting worried he would be Kim Muir bound with weird entries over 2m,2m2 etc
Hope to see better jumping tomorrow as stamina clearly isn't a problem.

Added Early Doors myself as love the horse after last year and know I'd end up having a saver on him in this race... . But must admit I dont think he looks a horse who relish this trip myself.

Think he would have won if not for being hampered

Early Doors needs to sharpen up his jumping. Still job done in qualifying for NH chase. No reaction from bookies - still 33/1 generally

20/1 any race with sky for those that way inclined

Lucky to have gotten qualified with two falling in front of him, I like how he got back ahead of one of the others and from when he had to "get going again" after almost comignto a stop he seems as far away then as he does at the line, so he was plugging on nicely.

Decent bet at 33/1 - I'd back that now.

If Champ targets JLT that may yet make connections think that this race would be better for Faugheen?

Not sure they'd ever be related contingencies for either set of connections.

What about the RSA? I mean JLT- 4miler would be strange.

Either way, Faugheen's a better horse than him currently anyhow.

Carefully Selected cut two points & into fav now with PP/Betfair for this race. I wonder has a decision on his target been made.

Ruby put him up as a bet in this and so did Ollie Bell this morning. It might explain the blue on Oddschecker.

Very short for it isn't he now without doing anything.

They aren't 'top price' for the RSA at the moment though which they do, do, sometimes.

Definitely doesn’t warrant favoritism after a half decent run over 2m5f but he’s probably my biggest winner of the week should he run here so I live in hope!

I didn't realise quite how short they've made him. You'd think that it must be the plan given their line into the stable.

That's what I was thinking, how can he be 6/1 favourite.....especially given Gordon has confirmed Champagne Classic as a runner !
