Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys Handicap Hurdle

Ben Jones - that was an angle i was trying to go down myself! What races can he use his claim for ?

There is a cut off point in which some of the more experienced conditionals cannot ride in this
Not sure how many winners you need to reach this cut off

Just checked from last year
If you have 75 winners combined in Ireland and Uk you are not allowed to ride in this
However, there is some confusion as to whether that is from the start of the season or up to the race
Donagh Meyer rode in it last year after exceeding the 75 winners on some technicality

There is no specific rule for jockeys in this race c/w any other race for Conditionals.

The racecard for last seasons race conditions mentions being eligible under rule (d)27. Looking up online rules for conditionals isn't giving full clarity.

However I have seen mention of being a conditional until 75 winners OR until 75 wins within last six months?

If you have a favourite Conditional from the British and Irish links in the thread today, maybe check in the Racing Post if they have more than 75 winners.

I've never heard of a top Conditional or Apprentice (Flat racing) being stopped from winning the title because they won too many races that year. So maybe you are a Conditional for a full season unless you win more than 75 races in that season.

I’m sure it’s been posted already but only pilots under 26 qualify...

When you reach 75 winners you can no longer claim an allowance
However, you can still ride for a further six months as a conditional

Oakley Brown can ride in this and being with Joseph what ever he can get 7lbs off will be popular no doubt. (scrap that just dawned on me they don;t get any allowances in it any more do they:stupid: )

I'm so far on the C-O-F bandwagon iv'e barely looked at anything else for this:devilish: can't think of many obvious ones as he has plenty of giggi ones and they dont dart multiple ones here bar Gordy having two last year do they. If he has no stable ride he will be very much in demand he gets plenty of good publicity already it seems.

It looks like Front View could be lined up for this
Great form too behind Envoi Allen and beat Uthred
Joseph o brien/jj o neill junior
Could be this years Early Doors
Still bits of 20/1 availability
Will be fav for this if he comes here I’d say
Entered up this Thursday 2 1/2 mile hurdle
Currently on 134

Great Shout that Liam , and very lazy on my part having said he doesn't have an obvious one :dejection:
Obvs owt near Envoi is bombproof at present and I rate that Uhtred , chuck in Oakley or Jonjo jnr to the mix and lots to like on paper top work .

Added this myself last night! 134 looks very fair to me. Taken the 18/1 with Hills and the boost
