Not sure she's second string, or if it matters much. I know I said Ruby rides etc, but this probably not as much of a pointer this season with the jockey title etc.

Topped up from small bet after watching video this morning and declared for this.
It is weak, but a mare winning this, or even going close and she has to be favourite for the Dawn Run. At least shorter anyway.

Interesting that the mare that hendo brought up himself as 1 to follow was Sunrise Ruby, "a smart filly"

Some good support for Honeysuckle recently.

Missed the boat on her personally and feel a bit annoyed about it. Her form has a pretty solid look to it and she was very impressive. You'd normally expect Sulamani's progeny to want soft ground as well but she looks like she will handle anything.

She's the one I havent backed that Im most scared of in this one.

Oh yeah, absolutely right.

My worry is, she may run in the race even if beaten?

No reason not to throw her in to the Cheltenham race anyway?

Yep, could happen. be disappointing if she runs at 25-1.
But could also win for some reason, can't win if they don't run.

If and it's a big if, she wins Sunday, she's by far the leading novice mare we'll have seen so far.
And we might not see any others emerge. No guarantee chante niege runs or is any good.
I've backed her Sunday as well as on form I think she's the best, based on video evidence.
PW Mullins had positive things to say and she looked classy last time, as she should with her flat pedigree.
 
Anyway, f**k all that.
Imagine the sing song for that in Istabraq bar on the tuesday.
 
I'll have to have a better look at the Moscow Flyer before I decide, but that all sounds logical
 
Below is from NH blog, glad he's confirmed she should be running soon, was getting concerned!

Yes, she was, and could still be, very exciting. She worked this morning and jumps very well and is a very talented mare. I think she will be appearing very shortly as I want to get two runs into her before the Trull House Mares’ Novice at the Festival."
 
My worry with Buildmeup is whether she's a strong stayer. Great turn of foot but worrying the way the runner up closed her down so rapidly. Put it this way, in a strongly run race at Cheltenham, if she and say, Relegate jumped the last together I'd have no doubt who'd stay on up the hill best.

Can totally see that POV based on her maiden win, but she was a middle distance horse on the flat.

Patrick said that they like her a lot and thought she got tired like a lot have been doing first time out (this of course is them guessing a bit, but they've been at it a long time so I'll go along with it to a point).

Also the second got outpaced then stayed on again (from memory) whilst others up with the pace got brushed aside by her in strides and she could also have been idling. The second might not be bad either as it ran well when setting the pace for Klassical dream the next time.

We'll see soon enough.
I would add, on a general note - that none of the obvious Mullins horses have either been seen or ran that well this season and it may pay to think a little bit differently. Mullins certainly wouldn't want just one or two owners in the yard winning the big pots as that's not good for business. You can fall out over a pint or a few quid and they've gone the next morning.
 
Think Buildmeupbuttercup wins tomorrow, backed her @ 3/1, but don't think she'll be a player in this come the festival myself.

It's a really interesting one given that the Moscow Flyer is normally won by Mullins and the winner normally goes fav for the Supreme! If she wins well she's bound to shorten for everything - same with Harrie - but it may just be that he has nothing else for it on the prevailing ground.

That would be the norm, yeah, but with the ground the way it's been means not just Mullins, but others have well, seem to have sent, and I mean no disrespect saying this, their reserves to this race for this year.

Surprised Ruby has chosen Harrie. Looks like a big chaser in the making.

I've backed Buildmeupbuttercup at 16/1 for this.

It's still early days for the race and I believe the Mullins domination will continue for a little while longer. He always sends a good one for the Moscow Flyer (even if ground may mean it's not his best novice this year), and this suggests to me she's sparkling at home.

If she wins this she should be well up for winning a Dawn Run.
