She was never going to beat Laurina last season, and I can't help but feel she would not have been fired up for either of them races either. She won her maiden as she liked, which was expected. She's not exposed over 2m yet IMO.

On breeding you could suggest a load of the mares would need to go up in trip though, so can't have that as an argument against her just yet, seeing as the majority of WPM's end up going that way anyway.

Would agree about RDC Jack, was merely listing horses that were potentials, she would not be high on my list.

Completely forgot about horses like My Sister Sarah & Buildmeupbuttercup.....some team he has!

There's a few beginning with 'E' that we haven't seen yet plus Fenta Des Obeaux that Scooby has in any race. Plenty of good words about Chante Neige but she must be fragile.

It will be interesting to see what Willie has in the Fairyhouse G3 on January 26th.

Jeez, sounds like a race you shouldn't bother with for a while, what with all these potentials, but you managed a max bet Scooby? I'm intrigued.

In terms of Cheltenham targert - they are the two key lines from that quote. The Ballymore isn't going to be easier to win against the geldings with the level of form she's showing and although she may go all the way up to 3 miles, he has suggested there 2 and a half with no mention of 3m?

I backed Relegate when Mullins stable tour came out, and I still think it'll end up the target. However, she does definitely need further to be at her best, so the relatively small ante post amount from early on this season won't be being added to at all.

You couldn't back her for the race now I don't think, but I haven't lost all hope. She could make all :devilish:



Chante Neige is my biggest winner at the moment, completely agree with scooby and Innoko from the ante post thread, with NRNB looming, she becomes a potential shortener if she lives up to the substantial hype of being the owners 'one' to follow this season.

He just clearly said she'll markedly go up in trip. He'll go slow and keep her away from grade 1s.

Nothing he says is clear. He's clearly contradicted himself.

He's allowed to change his mind. As I said though, I wouldn't back her now. I just have, and did it with WH so am stuck hoping he puts her in the race and I can lay it closer to the time :triumphant:



Plain to see..... no runs in this country, 3rd behind a horse I've not heard of and behind Stormy Ireland who wasn't good enough to win the race?

He ran Augusta Kate vs the boys so i would say its very likely he'll do it again here.

He ran AK in the bumper + now Relegate, i think he'll follow that trend anyway.

That's a top class race. As you'll see with lamarckise who ran in a simular one. Stormy Ireland has done more than laurina, atleast she went over to auteuil and took on the boys in the best of her generation.

Yeah, a fair enough point.

Augusta Kate was never top of the tree... Relegate is better than her at this stage of their careers.... although that doesn't really affect where she may end up.
