Losing Festival horses to follow

At the start of the supreme when they were all lining up he looked a bigger horse than appreciate it

So will have plenty of scope for fences

He looked well booked for second despite pulling like a train

I think he has tonnes of natural ability and if he learns how to settle (he's basically giving himself no chance at the moment but still running very well) then he is a very interesting contender for the arkle or marsh

Same goes for gaillard du mesnil too, the ability is clearly there he just needs to learn to settle which will hopefully come with time and he is my idea of the RSA winner

Id be thinking that the ballymore was a miles better race than the bartlett and that GDM and BMG will be the ones to beat in the RSA

Mighty Daze ran a big race in 2nd behind stablemate. Unexposed and inexperienced. Interesting to see the route they take with her given Henry is quite flush with mares.

Escaria Ten + Next Destination race turned into a sprint, which didn't suit either of these gallopers. Good races to be won.

I'll add to mine Aspire Tower now probably going chasing might well be a top Arkle contender.

I will forgive Epatante , and quite likely to reappear in the ch. hdl , i.m.o .-. like Buveur d'air etc.
 
Elham Valley made a bad mistake 2 out losing race position in the boodles

It also looks like the saddle slipped backwards a bit

been put up 3lbs to 127

Given hudson de grugy who Elham Valley beat earlier in the season is 130 id say this horse may well dot up next time out given how much went wrong

The eye-catcher in the ultima was definitely one for the team, who clouted fence after fence then still made up good ground so he must have a serious engine

a step up in trip maybe and a slower pace to put less pressure on his jumping would maybe benefit him

Just watched the Triumph back for the first time and jesus that Haut En Colours was so eye catching. He travelled so well and is a proper good jumper of a hurdle.

Would definitely interest me too over fences, see he’s quoted in the Arkle market as well (same price 33s as CH market). That’s what I thought was particularly impressive too - he looked keen early on & yet still had most of the field beat coming down at the last... even as Bird’s Nest states above Ballyadam may have had him covered it was still a good run IMO.

Agreed, thought Ballymore was strong with front 3. BMG screams RSA next year with Nicholls saying he could potentially emanate Denman - just the small matter of the Irish he’ll have to contend with! GDM & as others have mentioned on here too already Galopin des Champs the M.Pipe winner definitely 3 I took out from this year...
 
Caribbean Boy is on my radar for Aintree. I feel like the national fences will really suit him.
