Envoi is forgivable....might rout then at fairyhouse but have a feeling might be a ryanair next year

Concertista - Don't think she ran to full form, can forgive

Chancun Por Soi - Also don't think he ran to form but is 10 next year and I'm ageist when it comes to racing

Kilcruit - More of a stayer and stayed on well, will forgive.

Envoi Allen - Can forgive absolutely

Zanahiyr - Can forgive and he stayed on well. Don't think he run to form. Tongue tie also, possible breathing problem, wind op!

Tritonic - Didn't run well at all, suspect he will prefer a flatter track.

Paisley Park - Will be 10 next year, hard to see him winning next year but he ran well.

The Ryanair field - No

Haut En Couleurs ran a cracker to finish 3rd in the Triumph. Might be one for Punchestown. Trickier next year as he's not a novice.

Mighty Daze ran a big race in 2nd behind stablemate. Unexposed and inexperienced. Interesting to see the route they take with her given Henry is quite flush with mares.

Escaria Ten + Next Destination race turned into a sprint, which didn't suit either of these gallopers. Good races to be won.

Think this depends on whether i would follow some of the horses in other races, or looking purely in terms of next year's festival

In terms of Cheltenham 2022, i would still be interested in...

- Envoi Allen.....though he still has things to prove as a G1 chaser and the wind issues are something i am wary of a bit

- Kilcruit......he was prob the best horse in the bumper, but as we have discussed, prob did not get the best of rides and was beaten by one that clearly did get a very good ride. Definitely one for me next year......am guessing for Ballymore, but not started 2022 yet.

Interesting side issue, but i do wonder what Willie's thoughts are on jockeys, as for the second year in a row, he prob has Qs over some rides. Paul T is still a very good jockey, but Willie would prob expect to have the best jockey as he had for so many years with Ruby.....and for me, Rachel and Jack K are quite a bit better

I'm more negative on most of the others....and don't think they are either as good as they were (eg - Epatante......who is also exposed on faster run race, and Paisley Park), or as goos as we thought (Tritonic, even maybe Zanahiyr.......though placed Triumph horses are usually ones to watch in 2-3 years time).

Concertista i think depends on price.....don't think is as good as past Mares winners, but one of the races where the better jockey made the difference

I have to say i thought Paul Townend had a terrible week there werent many rides where he enhanced the chances of his mounts in fact quite the opposite until it came to Colreevy.

Id forgive Mr Fisher. He jumped very poorly and still looked like he was travelling well until his final big mistake. Certainly not one to give up on. The rest in tbe race however.... meh

I thought Haut En Couleurs was very impressive for his first run for Willie and a while off. I'm sure he will go to Punchestown or somewhere before the end of the season and then Willie will find him a decent low graded race to come back in next season.

Blue Lord - was nailed on for 2nd in the Supreme when coming down at the last. Think that’ll be the one to give Honeysuckle most to think about in the Champion Hurdle next year...

Horses backed to win who didn't perform or fell would be a good angle in general. I will have to share the TV control for a week or so first though.

Epatante - no. Even if honeysuckle goes chasing, there’ll likely be a better/more in-form horse next year.
Concertista - probably in the absence of a superstar breaking through. Arguably should have won.
Chancun Por Soi - no.
Kilcruit - yes. Like appreciate it will be better over further + not a great ride.
Envoi Allen - yes.
Zanahiyr - don’t think so. Strikes me as the kind of juvenile not to train on from it
Tritonic - never gave him one to begin with
Paisley Park - no, would say after 2 failed attempts he’s had his day now.
The Ryanair field - probably not, to be honest. Fakir Doudairies ran respectably

charlie was keen as clap on Zanza and the formline being used only got boosted again with the 1-3 in the GA so with him departing early makes him looked even more chucked in surely.

Think ballyadam would have beaten him without the mistake myself. Thought elle est belle ran a cracker in the bumper coming in off what looked a slowish run race. I would be interested in abracadabra in the arkle if sent chasing too.
