I'm Lossiemouths biggest fan and completely agree she'd murder him but Nicky's not me. He'll be desperate to have a CH horse.

I'm not convinced at all that OPS will go chasing especially with Act of Innocence on the premises. He's a serious animal too.

Yes, Old Park Star will almost certainly stay over hurdles for another season. Trained by Nicky Henderson, he put in a highly impressive performance to win the Sky Bet Supreme Novices' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.Because he is still quite green and "babyish", connections are expected to keep him over hurdles rather than rushing him into chasing immediately. However, physically and mentally, he has the size and galloping stamina of a future chaser.

I too think he'll more than likely go chasing but.....

Nicky did say directly after his Supreme win that , whilst he thought he'd go chasing, nothing was cast in stone and there's that other boy AOI who could be an awkward spanner for Arkle backers.

Along with Kabral, Dan also gave Soldier Reeves as one of 3 to follow next season and he'll go down the Stayers route so he could be one to consider. Bossman Jack was the 3rd horse. No target mentioned.

Had Soldier Reeves down as his Pertemps horse for next season, it'd need to come down a few pounds but...this is Dan we're talking about., guess we'll know after his first run next season, if he wins then stayers it is, if he's beaten with a questionable ride...

Just nudging this thread to start ramping up interest now am back on home turf and in the colder UK climate..

Having now properly looked through May - I agree, one selection that is going to be banked is He's on Fire - just debating which race (BANC vs Arkle)

Any thoughts welcome - be it from those prolific posters (thanks to all who have put a shout in thus far) but also any lurkers, don’t be afraid to come out and just throw in a pick and get amongst it!

We know he loves the Course and he travelled brilliantly in the Stayers and looked all over the winner until his stamina gave up. A solid alternative to Old Park Star who has already been picked in an earlier Yankee.
