Lossiemouth looks miles ahead of anything in the CH betting but take her out of the race and it looks wide open. Going through those behind her surely Nicky must be tempted to give Old Park Star a crack at the CH next season? Act of Innocence is a perfectly adequate substitute for the Arkle and it makes even more sense when you take into account they are in the same ownership.

The Hobbs horse nearly got OPS in trouble in the Supreme

Lossie would murder him

If you're playing devil's advocate, I'd recommend a plea of guilty but insane.

All Trainers favourite saying...'Never be afraid of one horse'.

I'm Lossiemouths biggest fan and completely agree she'd murder him but Nicky's not me. He'll be desperate to have a CH horse.

I'm not convinced at all that OPS will go chasing especially with Act of Innocence on the premises. He's a serious animal too.

I asked AI.....

Yes, Old Park Star will almost certainly stay over hurdles for another season. Trained by Nicky Henderson, he put in a highly impressive performance to win the Sky Bet Supreme Novices' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.Because he is still quite green and "babyish", connections are expected to keep him over hurdles rather than rushing him into chasing immediately. However, physically and mentally, he has the size and galloping stamina of a future chaser.

Is there an echo ?? 😂

I too think he'll more than likely go chasing but.....

Nicky did say directly after his Supreme win that , whilst he thought he'd go chasing, nothing was cast in stone and there's that other boy AOI who could be an awkward spanner for Arkle backers.

Watch this space.
