J.L.T Novices Chase 2019

Wonder what the Giggi horse will be now. That Hardline run raises question marks. Champagne Classic travelled like the best horse at Naas that was a huge run after a long absence.

Im happy with Hardline for this race. That said, strange run indeed.......

One of them 2 I'd have thought but I can't see anything troubling the front 2 personally.

Don't think you can be happy with it with a view to winning this. He was detached and uninterested for most of the race, didn't jump as well as he usually does either. His form prior to that had a solid look to it. The only excuse you could make is the ground. He would need to be ridden more aggressively or they wont come back to him.

No financial interest so far for me in this race but for me if top of the game rocks up here instead of the RSA then surely he wins
Not far beaten when left at the start by defi earlier this season and not sure if he fully got the 3 miles last time out
Looks like a far easier race on paper than taking on delta work, big name santini and possibly the mare of Warrens as well

Agree Jimmy. Showed plenty pace at Kempton. Klashnikov would be a big player too.

Is Kalashnikov running again before the fez? Hopefully Murphy gets some more evidence to change her mind

If you look at the market as it stands there is a lot of runners at the head of the market that probably won’t run isn’t there? Could do a lot worse than dutching Defi and Lost In Translation imho

True that. Could take 7 of the top 9 out.

I'm happy to believe it was the ground that did for Hardline yesterday.

20-1 appeals as not sure what Gigginstown would fire at this race if not Hardline?

"Lightening quick," said one jockey. "Good to firm" said another. And they were talking about the hurdles track. The chase course was officially quicker.

Taken another 'Elliott flyer' and gone in for Champagne Classic at 40/1 eachway. As stated on another thread, I can see Hardline going to the 4 Miler and am therefore willing to gamble on CC coming here - at the price. Ran a great race on the comeback - just tired late but was tanking for most of the race and I think the intermediate trip will suit. Another who could end up single figures if he turns up in a small field.

I topped up my any race bet with 33s in this after his last run and noticed they pushed to 40s today. That looks a wild price.

This really tempts me, what are the odds of him realistically coming here so we think?

Not sure what odds on turning up, but he's definitely on the radar.

I took 22s a while ago and 16s any race (when he had an entry) so I'm pretty set, but would very much like him to run here!

I’ve requested CC be added back to skys any race market

Would it be the biggest shock to see them going for a handicap over hurdles?

40/1 with cash out is not much risk. He wont drift from that. 40/1 is clearly the wrong price would be around 10/1 if he did turn up.

Anyone else thing Voix de reve was in the process of running a big race before he came down? Probably wouldn’t of won but I imagine he may of done second beaten approx 6L. Which in the context of this race might be half decent form?
