Horses for Cheltenham 2020

For all it was only an ordinary race, Breaken looked very good there

In his Aintree preview Greatrex mentions that he thinks Emitom will need another season over hurdles before going chasing so will go down the Stayers Hurdle route next season

Greatrex also mentioned that LBAR could get a Gold Cup entry should everything go well... This despite not really taking to the track on previous runs but if the horse is running well and winning, it would deserve its chance.. Certainly can not knock the form.
33s available.

Pentland Hills going to be difficult to place next year now?

Will just have a Champion Hurdle campaign won't he?

Not really a 'deep' division still, plenty of 2 mile hurdle races for him to have a go at.

Without going back through the previous 13 pages , Have to be Looking at Kemboy for the Gold cup.

Yeah, they cut him to around 8/1 though so no rush

And .. Only 1 day Later - Lost in Translation for the Gold Cup .
Like Buses , these Gold cup contenders. !.

....talking at Aintree yesterday, Skelton said Roksana will have one run next season ahead of returning to Cheltenham for the Mares Hurdle, then on to Aintree again. Exactly the same strategy as this season. I did wonder if they might have a shot at the Stayers Hurdle but clearly not.

Just read that on Sporting life Eggs, Will be my No 1 for the Mares , for now anyway.

Anyone know if GYPSY ISLAND is priced up anywhere in the any race markets.
Might be worth waiting for a few weeks before asking if not.
Looks a proper good mare. I assume still a novice as got beat with a bad ride on hurdle debut.
But the win yesterday was very impressive.

25-1 seems value, but won't be ringing up just yet.
maybe prior to any run at punchestown.

Wow, I snapped up the 12/1 I found on Sky last night and thought I was getting value...

In the spirit of this thread, one I've got firmly in the tracker is Good Boy Bobby for Twister. He looks a classic chasing type, but showed good scope over hurdles once he got the hang of it. If you put a line through his Ffos Las run in the mud - which I think is fair enough - he was otherwise unbeaten. He might fly a little under the radar for early-season novice chases next term given how easy a season he was given over hurdles.

Only problem is if owners the Rooneys throw their toys out of the pram again about Cheltenham!
