Fox Hunters Chase 2018

Yeah took me a while to find it, and they laid me an OK amount.

Took the Top Notch special too whilst I was in there....
 
Anybody heard anything regards Staker Wallace in this race ?
Leaving it late to get qualified now
Could get the wildcard with all the other principles qualified
Would still be a leap of faith to think that a horse so inexperienced could go here without a prep run and win
 
Morning Assembly was due to run this weekend but wasn't declared.
Has one more week to get a run and win to qualify

I expect he will be out shortly. Also now burning ambition ran in a race good enough to up his rating and seal his place. Id be very suprised if morning assembly wouldn't receive the wild card anyway as a former grade 1 winner who beat the likes of balnaslow last time out very easily
He dosent need a win to qualify hes already finshed 2nd and 1st in 2 runs.


For five yrs old and upwards, which, since October 1st, 2015, and before February 26th, 2018, have been placed FIRST OR SECOND ON TWO OCCASIONS in a hunters' steeple chase in Great Britain or Ireland OR have WON TWO OPEN STEEPLE CHASES at Point-to-Point Meetings (i.e. Gentlemens, Ladies or Mixed Open Races) in Great Britain or Ireland OR have WON ONE OPEN STEEPLE CHASE at a Point-to-Point Meeting in Great Britain or Ireland and have been placed FIRST or SECOND in a hunters' steeple chase


ONE WILD CARD will be given. For 1 horse that is outside of the ratings required to get in.

Thought he had a fairly tough race on Saturday on testing ground which isn't ideal.
 
Morning Assembly entered in Fairyhouse on Saturday.

I just had a quick look at the entries so far on the racing post
No morning assembly
Thought that might be because he hadn't qualified yet
But Staker Wallace is in the entries and he has not qualified
