Day 1 - Tuesday - Royal Ascot 2020

CDL definitely saved an average day. Up small let’s go again tomorrow
 
Well done to those on CDL, young Fallon lost any small chance on Blue laureate at the start and seemed happy to stay there :dejection:
 
A couple of things I picked up on today:

1. Jim Crowley picked what seemed to be the least fancied of 3 Hamdan Al Maktoum runners in the first race today, ahead of a horse (Daarik) that had run recently and looked progressive, and it won nicely. Tomorrow he seems to have picked Alrajaa ahead of Montatham (who was impressive at Newmarket) and last years winner, Afaak. I’ve already backed Lord Tennyson for this but I was kicking myself for not trusting Crowley’s selection today and I’m not going to make the same mistake twice.

2. A more obvious one, Pyledriver, won well today I thought. A nice boost to the chances of Berlin Tango tomorrow?
 
Berlin Tango & Bright Melody, plenty will have spotted the formline and both will get well supported tonight & into tomorrow RL.
