Chelters 2016 Antepost bets

Interesting strategy LR - getting them all right is a dream really and your method allows a nice return if you get 2 or more right.

I don't do as many as Mayo but my biggest wins have all come from some kind of multiple bet. I do like to have a couple of bankers that I throw into several lines and then have a few wildcards that I change.

I do have other mutiples that include bankers but they are nothing new.

My latest:
Renetti 20/1 Coral Cup
Blue Hell 12/1 County
Next Sensation 14/1 Grand Annual
Onenightinvienna 33/1 Grand National

£1 yankee pays £172,396

I always over stake with in mind a couple of them won't run or lose which would then turn the bet into a £1 Lucky 31 or 15 e/w.

still be better doing the same bet split into two 0.50 stakes rather than 1.00

Doesn't need it, just wants it:highly_amused:

Who wouldn't? ;)

Do we know anything about Yorkhills target for the festival yet, his form of the tolworth win is now well above average and has real substance to it, I really want to lay into him but he's the same price for 4 different races at the moment....

My next bet is looking like this 0.5 e/w yankee;

JCB Triumph, tommy silver 14/1
Champion Bumper, Lucky Pass 16/1
JLT, Three Musketeers 20/1
Gold Cup, Djakadam 11/2

Pays £25300 for the win and an additional £300 if they all place, looking to pick up the £280 profit on the places to be honest with a speculative bid for a few of them to win as well

Some talk that giggy not sending over any for the bumper.

I know they normally avoid it but they have so many horses this year and with the bumper not looking too strong a renewal so far i think they would be missing out not to run in it because they could more than likely collect on the prize money, surely they'd rather send something like lucky pass over get some experience for the festival next year than leave it in the box at home, i would do Augusta kate but again withit being another one of willies horse we don't know if it's running here, aintree or staying at home for punchestown...

I thought O'Leary had already said he won't be running anything as he doesn't like the race.

It'll take all of Willie's persuasive powers to make him change his mind.

I've just noticed that after today's racing finished ladbrokes pretty much shortened up every horse for Cheltenham, the 8/1 into 6/1, the 3/1 into 11/4, evens into 4/5 and the 8/11 into 4/6 etc etc, very strange in my opinion, are they just starting to balance their books and manage their pay outs now literally all heads have turned to Cheltenham, i mean we all know they have never been the best bookies for odds but just found it an intriguing move to do now

PP just capped my stakes. I can only stake £25 max on single bets of around 20/1 odds and £0.22 on a Lucky 63. :(

PP are like all the others LR, 22p on a lucky 63 is humiliating for a bookmaker, they should be ashamed.
I wish some of these bookies would just leave the market and focus permanently on ruining the lives of addicts who can't help spin a wheel online, they don't apply restrictions to those customers.
The industry needs bookmakers willing to play their part before every bet that's struck is via the exchanges or illegal Indian/Chinese bookies....
