Tell me about it! All because he couldn't secure the 'best' amateur!

Frodon won’t be anywhere near without an easy lead. Elegant Escape relished the hill but was it just me or did he sort of slow down again when he reached Frodons hind quarters on the run in?

He gave up the challenge once he joined Frodon. Doubt that was an empty tank so raises a question over attitude
I think something went wrong physically with EE.
Something stopped his momentum. Either that or Frodon took his ground.
Seen a few people saying EE stopped when he got to Frodon, but maybe Frodon just picked up again when he felt EE at his tail?
I'd have bet loads on him getting past Frodon with an extra furlong to go though....
Thought it was jockey looking after the horse , he wasnt going to get to Frodon before line so why give him extra smack or two. Gold Cup it will be a different story , however is he good enough , not in estimation.
Is the Gold Cup an extra furlong though Kev?
I’m sure they said on itv yesterday that due to how they’d placed the rails that yesterday’s race was actually 170 yds longer than the quoted distance. If true it makes Frodon’s effort all the more impressive and the 33/1 with BF a generous price?
I see no reason why Frodon can't get placed.
I think 9/2 is a generous price for Native River and 8/1 about Thistlecrack looks tempting.
