Cheltenham Bumper 2019

Not going to be large volumes they lose though so the mistakes get recitified pretty quickly!

Depends who's putting it on. If you've a fresh account.
They can easily get taught a lesson for putting out prices like that

And then Restrict the account ?? . :sorrow:

Bullish reports

"Allaho goes really well at home, we’re happy with him. Fury Road is the obvious challenger, but we’re happy with our one in this. I think Allaho will probably win."

Has it been confirmed Allaho is eligible for this?

15:30 - Fury Road

He's a nice horse who came to us from Pat Doyle who produced him to win well at Dromahane in May. His work over the last few weeks has suggested that*he could be very competitive in bumpers*and I'm looking forward to getting him started. He might just prefer slower ground and this is usually a very smart bumper so I'm hoping for a decent showing but I know there will be more to come from him following this run.

I'm tempted to add Larquebuse 33/1 in this with b365 before she runs on Wednesday (in the last at Limerick). Got them to add her before her entry a week or so ago but she was pulled out. Her PtP hasn't worked out but she looked impressive and there's been good mentions about her. Chevely Park have recently come out and said they would like to have some runners at Cheltenham this year and with Envoi Allen skipping the festival and Malone Road injured I wonder if they may well aim her at the race if she proves good enough. The fact mares have won this race the last 2 years could give them a push to do so too.

Larquebuse missed an intended outing at Fairyhouse lately when the ground was probably a shade quicker than ideal for her. The going here should be ideal for her and I'd expect a good showing from her. She showed a nice level of ability when winning her point-to-point last season and, at home, she shows us that she could be a decent mare. She is more of a chaser in the making than a bumper mare but that shouldn't prevent her from running well.

Yeah it was a hurdle race.

Which would mean he isn't qualified. These are the conditions:

for four, five and six yrs old only, which have not run under
any recognised Rules of Racing, except National Hunt Flat races,
Irish National Hunt Flat races or French AQPS Flat races.
Horses are not to have run in more than four races and, before
February 26th, 2019, must have been placed first, second,
third or fourth in a race

Has someone tried to get Allaho up on B365?

Hi, I just tried and got this back. As has just been mentioned, it seems Allaho isn't eligible.

Following a review of your price request, we are unfortunately unable to offer a price on this selection as Allaho is ineligible for Champion Bumper because it has already ran over hurdles in France.

I'm amazed they know this having priced up the race like a junior trader :highly_amused:

Willies thoughts on Allaho:

Allaho (Patrick) has his first run for us in the bumper. He has the benefit of a run over hurdles at Auteuil and gallops well at home. We think quite a bit of him and are looking forward to seeing how he gets on today.

Jamie Codd has give an absolutely shocker to Larquebuse in the last at Limerick

Gave her double digit lengths to find, then got caught in traffic

Terrific engine to finish as close as she did and she wasn’t stopping, only quoted by bet365 but definitely one to watch

Schooling race. He honestly is the best but... giggi owned.
They've been saving him and vision d'honneur for here.

Was this an actual quote or just your opinion? The winner today must be a hell of a horse if he’s stuffed Gordon’s best.

Not sure many schooling races mean too much, particularly Gordon's.
His novices look second best by a long way so far.

Actually spoken From Gordon at the hri awards. Who was going off on a tangent.

It's clear what happened today though. Was all bravado from the pair of them knowing what they were on and completely cut there own throats. Might get a price about either next time

I'd agree with that, it shaped like they went too hard at the front. Not checked times or owt though.
