Cheltenham 2020 - Ante post bets

The Pertemps network final 2020 is up on Oddschecker now .
priced up with coral and ladbrokes only at the moment.

Re - Malone road.
as he's not completely ruled out.
anyone with bets for any race, I'd say the bumper wouldn't be out of the question.
Gordon appeared supremely confident for that race last year. and if he comes right in the new year then you never know

Sounded like he was completely ruled out, Gordon said 'Gone for the season again it's unfortunate'

Currently which horse in the antepost Festival markets, priced at 25/1 or bigger do you think is standout the best value, and that we should consider backing? - and why is it good value?

Tornado Flyer EW 33/1 (B365 cashout) in Arkle. WPM said 2 miles is the plan and the next stop is the grade 1 novice chase he sent Footpad, Douvan and Vautour to. TF seems somewhat under the radar having not been seen for a while but with Melon and Laurina potentially JLT bound the Arkle looks open for one of his to emerge. (This is basically just a condensed version of what Kev said on the Arkle thread). How many winning Willie Mullins chase debutants with a seemingly planned path to Cheltenham are 33/1?

A Plus Tard in the Ryanair. 25-1 available with 365 was the most visually impressive winner at last years festival. First run this season showed he needs further than 2 miles jumps well likes the track and target seemingly set in a race that usually cuts up.

Just to add to mine Silver Forever in the Mares Novice is too big at 25-1 as well.

Melon 25-1 Arkle B365.

This horse runs well for one day each year.
The second Tuesday in March at Cheltenham racecourse :highly_amused:
He is mostly shit for the rest of the time.

The price is 150% better than the mode price (based on the win return).

So far, on the name the best value in the antepost market that is presently 25/1 or bigger - we have votes for
TORNADO FLYER 33/1 Arkle
A PLUS TARD 25/1 Ryanair
SILVER FOREVER 25/1 Mares Novice Hurdle
MELON 25/1 Arkle

My own choices would be

CHAMPAGNE CLASSIC 33/1 RSA Chase
Only this price because Plan A is the NH Chase. Plans change as we know and he has racked up 2 wins over 3M or less, and a 158 RPR rating last time out that I don’t think any horse in the RSA has delivered over fences in the early part of this season.
Worth a cover bet on the RSA for a few quid in case anything happens to BOD and Plan B becomes the new Plan A

NUBE NEGRA 33/1 Arkle Chase
Yes, our third selection for the Arkle at long odds already, which shows what an open look it has at the moment. The wait for a definitive Graded race win that blows a hole in the top of the market won’t be too long coming, I’m sure.
This selection is all based on visuals and his jumping. Unexposed in two chases to date, the acid test is coming in the next month.

Any more 25/1 or bigger antepost current market selections please? Keep them rolling in.

Fly Smart Supreme, French race win franked to oblivion. Coeur Sublime Champion Hurdle, in a very open race could be the surprise package. A Plus Tard Ryanair, spectacular winner this year and distance perfect. Rayapour Triumph, high class flat recruit with top hurdling connections. Melon Arkle, Cheltenham specialist with top hurdling form in what looks an open year.

....Joseph O’Brien’s Darasso for me @ 25-1 (27-1 with boost) in the Hills any race market. Versatile and classy type, is only a general 20-1 for the Champion Chase and Ryanair.

It’s win on debut over fences in the Webster Cup Chase is worth a watch.

Proschema any race 25s, 105 rated on the flat, 8th in kew gardens st Legar, 3rd in northumberland plate (should have won) taken well to hurdling over inadequate trips, a real stayer expect it to improve enormously when upped in trip.

Hes not 1 i personally fancy at the highest grade.
And He had won multiple times over fences in france before coming over here.

But reasonably interesting that He'd also beaten his stable mate at the time JANIKA, 3 times comfortably.

Thought willie said after last run they are looking at further

If they try him over further and he loses (which he will)
What do you in March with a horse thats best form is over 2 miles at cheltenham ?

And come on billy.
Douvan's just back from injury and his distance has changed every day since.
I put more detail on my antepost thread to be fair as it obviously depends on willie's other options and how the race's shape up near the day.

I think they are more willing to try with Douvan now than before the injuries

Everything is a bonus and you aren’t protecting an unbeaten record

I’d put up Allaho for the RSA 25/1 still available with hills (20/1 for CashOut), Willie thinks a lot of the horse, and supposedly schooled well over fences. Low mileage so surely any amount of improvement can come and if backs up the hype on the track will be Willies number one in the race. Form ties in very closely with Minelo Indo and is twice the price.
