If Hugh Taylor tips him again there will be a lot of people that change their mind of Duc Des Genivres I'd bet.......but I don't think they'd be the people on this forum :highly_amused:

I think the majority of us feel there were better Arkle horses last season that didn't make the race... as we backed most of them.:disgust:


At 25/1, the thing you'd have on your side if you WANTED to see it is that Arkle winners have a decent record (unsurprisingly)...


Altior, Sprinter Sacre, Sizing Europe, Voy Por Ustedes all did the double (going back about 15 years)

Un De Sceaux, Forpadyderplasterer both came 2nd in the following QMCC.

Douvan was unplaced as fav - Footpad unplaced in Ryanair

Finian's Rainbow was 2nd in the Arkle behind Captain Chris and won the QMCC following year.

Simonsig missed the festival, as did ****** ********, Champagne Fever was a late non runner I think.

Cheers BC, I’ve made the jump and backed him for GC with Skybet, got 50’s so happy with that. I think he can cope with further.
 
I have backed footpad for the Ryanair @ 20-1. But willie did say he thought the further the better for him .
 
Unless Nicky Henderson is creating a smokescreen with his comments about Altiors speed on the gallops comprimising his ability to stay beyond 2 mile competitively I’ve placed a 45/1 double on Laurina (Arkle) and Altior (QMCC).
 
365 really on the ball with injuries this year. Gypsy Island not available for cashout almost straight away.

Anyone heard anything about Darasso ? Only reason I ask is no cashout available on line with him innit.

yepp they were really fast i was online checking for cashout literally within the minute and it was gone for me

...you would hope that if Bet365 knew anything about Darasso they would stop taking money for it. I’m probably naive, but it’s still priced up in their markets. I mentioned a couple of days ago, I think 27-1 in the Hills any race betting is very decent.

Fingers crossed, everything is ok.
 
The higher the profile horse the quicker they are to remove cash out.

If you get there in time, it’s a bonus really.
 
Only placed a trixie last night ,on Lostintranslation , Paisley park and Gypsy Island.
€60 of the €80 didn't last 24 hours ffs. The joys of ante post betting I suppose.:sorrow:
