Cheltenham 2020 - Ante post bets

Awww. That sucks. Did not know. Long season I guess so there is always hope while we are still 8 months out....

26 tuesdays till cheltenham , so 6 months.
For fuck sake don't set your alarm clock for 8 months or you'll miss it.:highly_amused:

I'm considering backing BDD for the mares and paisley for the stayers in a double, which is about 12/1. It's possible they'll both be unbeaten on the way to cheltenham which will probably make them both odds on come the day.

Just wondering what people's thoughts are, backing a double like this, this far out. As I'm fairly new to AP betting I'm not sure what the best way to go about this would be?

Thanks to Logician winning today I have bets running on to Malone Road, Shishkin, Jon Snow and Fly Smart in the Supreme; hopefully at least one makes it and lines up on the day

I have these two in a few trixies as can see the price being a lot shorter on the day.

Agree, I love a Trixie and have done likewise.

I choose horses to major on and do doubles throughout the season to get monies running on
Last year the 3 horses were Altior Benie DD and Tiger
2/3 and a saver on Roksana so v profitable

Like many on here I’ve learn to my cost to avoid ( well try to lol ) novice hurdles /handicaps til post Xmas

Horses that I’ve already got monies running onto are:

Klassical Dream 12/1 7/1 7/2
Benie DD 5/1
Chacun PS 12/1 7/1
Paisley Park 7/2
Hazel Hill 10/1

Not sure what thread to post this in but I’ve been looking back through Paul Ferguson’s Jumpers to Follow for last season quite a few big purchases from the Tattersall Sales and Goff sales went to mainly Gordon Elliot and Paul Nicholls and purchased by Tom Malone. Does anyone know anything about him?? He seems to feature in many of the big priced purchases for the big yards including Envoi Allen, Malone Road, Trevelyns Corn (rubbish so far) to name a few. These horses cost a lot of dough too

A few bits of red on oddschecker for Altior in the Champion Chase and a few bits of blue in the Gold Cup. Is there a stable tour out tomorrow or am I reading to much into it?

Had a nice free bet gifted to me today so invested in Envoi Allen (Supreme) and Samcro (JLT) each way double both 16/1.
All novices come with health warnings in September and I wouldn’t dream of spending real money on these jackpot doubles/multis at this stage....

Good luck Istabraq, I really couldnt see Envoi allen going for the Supreme personally but I could easily be wrong. He looks to have stayer all over him, looked to be just getting going at the end of the Champion Bumper.

Done the same sort of thing Envoi Allen (SNH) Malone Road (Bally) just in case.

Has there been news on the Cheveley horses going for those races? I’m not interested in Envoi Allen this season but I have him down as a stayer.

Looks a stayer to me as well. I was thinking potato race if it wasn't the Ballymore.
