Cheltenham 2020 - Ante post bets

Anyone got Tronador in their tracker after a very promising first run for Gordon over Christmas ?
Bad price for an ordinary race tomorrow
Trainer has previous for this owner when winning the boodles with veneer of charm
Had a similar profile been quite ordinary on the flat
Might have a small interest at 33s before tomorrow’s race

V eye catching! Stood out like a sore thumb, wonder which route he’ll go down

What is the rating now?

You'd be unlucky if they cut him unless he wins perhaps?

Perhaps boodles ,only say that because they did it with veneer of charm
However,if you can get a good price any race I would take that

Will hover over it, don't think they'll be that fast tomorrow.

Wouldn’t think so
I notice Gordon has put Kevin brogan up for his first two runs
Think he is a conditional jockey
Maybe pointing towards Martin pipe
Can you remember what the new rules are that rule out the top conditional jockeys for the pipe ?
Combined winners in Ireland and uk ?

I can't at the moment and I'm going to go to bed, but looks a very shrewd spot if you're right Liam. Good hunting so far.

Wow, great spot Liam, he stayed on really well to go clear. Veneer of Charm debuted (won) at Punchestown at Christmas like Tronador, then ran twice in six days in January, 2nd against juveniles again then trounced against older horses in a novice, before lining up next time out off 129 in the Fred Winter and winning well.

So I will be looking out for his next, handicap mark setting run and would be very interested if he was put in against older horses in a novice, rather than staying with juveniles. Well done, was 33/1 for the Boodles, now 20/1 across the board.

Well done Liam, looks like a plan is coming together. Wasn't able to hover over the price like I'd planned but keep us updated on his next entry and fingers crossed for you. Not adverse to backing at 20/1 but I'll wait for now.

I wasn't sure about the marks, according to the quotes after race, they will go somewhere quiet again and se where they end up.......FW!

Yep a planned race where winning is too tricky too next time out, so his mark would be based around today’s run.

Yep, great effort from Patrick to give up 8 mins on the way to the shower, interesting comments...

Be worth getting Panic Attack priced up for the bumper based on that interview. Before she runs Thursday.
Very nicely bred, and listed bumper on debut.
Mullins mare, with 4yr old allowance.
Bred by canford cliffs (galileo)
might not go to cheltenham mind. but worth getting a price and seeing what they say after Thursday.

I hate him :mad-new: Get's paid to do something I have to do for free :p and I take it you're backing yourself to out-do me and Gavin Lynch? ;)

I bet Gavin Lynch can't sort you out a D.B Avatar !!:loyal::highly_amused:
