Chaps if you were given a £1000 Free Bet to place on one horse for Cheltenham now where would it go ?

As it's a free bet And I don't like putting my own money on multiples I'll have a £2.02 EW goliath with 365 on

Annamix supreme 11/1
Cilaos emery arkle 20/1
Blackbow ballymore 25/1
Claimantakinforgan JLT 25/1
Penhill stayers 6/1
Chante neige mares novice 10/1
Adjali triumph 25/1
Alboum photo gold cup 33/1

I quite like 365 so I’d rather you not bankrupt them Scooby.

Play the game scooby :p

One horse.....

Benie Des Dieux. 4/1 with Hills in a 2 or 3 horse race.

I was thinking if I had to put a grand of my money on, in which case it would be Altior.

I wouldn't be doing anything that short with a free bet!

If it was a free bet, I'd do Percy in the GC, or Santini in the RSA.

It seems like Gordon has really settled on a plan for Commander Of Fleet, not only is he entered up at 2m and 2m4f over hurdles but he's also entered in two bumpers at the weekend too :highly_amused:

I seem to answer all these questions with one answer .... Annamix .... 1k on the nose at 11s please :)

Here is my updated shortlist of horses I will back in various combinations to chase the dream. I'm not forming a book so if I get it wrong, I won't be chasing more horses to add. Anything in brackets I'm still monitoring pending further information.

Supreme: Annamix, Mister Fisher, (Tokay Dokey).

Ballymore: Brewin’upastorm, Commander Of Fleet, (Tornado Flyer).

Albert Bartlett: Time To Move On (Gallahers Cross, Good Boy Bobby, Seddon).
Gallahers Cross still to run so he remains on the watchlist. Good Boy Bobby was beaten over 2m so may now step up in trip. Seddon is in the Supreme trial at Cheltenham so it's unlikely he'll be coming here.

Triumph: Coeur Sublime, Adjali, (Lethal Steps).

Arkle: (Paloma Blue, Draconien)
It could turn out to be an open Arkle this year as there does not seem to be a superstar in the ranks. It would be nice to see a larger field in the Arkle as its one of my least favourite races of the festival due to small fields and the winner usually being head and shoulders above everything else.

JLT: Lostintranslation, (Mr Whipped)

RSA: I can’t see past Santini or Next Destination for this, but neither are the price I want.
There is potentially quite a bit of depth in this race so the short prices are even less attractive.

4 miler: Blow By Blow, Chris’s Dream, (It’s All Guesswork).

Bumper: Envoi Allen, (The Big Getaway).

Watch list: Downtown Getaway, Alighted, Vision D'Honneur, My Way, Sizing Pottsie.

Latest update: Time To Move on added for the Albert Bartlett in advance of his debut over 2m5f. My concerns over the trainer only running him on soft or heavy have reduced as it's good to soft, soft in places for his debut. I still have a doubt he may have an easy season with chasing in mind but at the same time if he proves good enough, the draw of the Festival may prevail.
