Do we think Samcro is a definite for chasing, if he were mine id give him a further year over hurdles and try and win the champ hurdle, if they decided to go that route he would be fav?

Yes I think he's definitely going chasing.

No I think BVD would still be fav as the dual winner. If he wasn't and they pushed him out I'd have an almighty bet on
 
Archie i see Chateau Conti has been sold and is now with Joesph. Good offer and sold or did the club decide to get rid and reinvest? Dont answer if its a private matter obv. Was just flicking through the card for tomorrow and seen him jnt fav for a race at Galway but was surprised to see different connections. Seems like i missed news as this is his second run.
 
No idea, KSS. Chateau Conti was owned by Eddie (Un De Sceaux) O'Connell and I'd guess that his hurdle rating made him difficult to place.

Was there talk after the race yesterday that Clarcam is going to follow the COC and Tiger Roll route? Cross country/national

RSA probably but I'd not expect him to improve as a chaser. He's a decent horse but not good enough to win a festival race. What do you think?

I think they'd said they considered that for him before letting him take his chance ... not sure of anything after

I'd be guessing RSA he's for sure a longer distance stayer. Have to say I agree with Kev too, I'm not sure I can see him improving hugely over fences, especially when you look at the other horses that are likely to be going to the RSA.

As admirable as the horse is i'll be 100% opposing Lil Rockerfeller over fences and bar something extraordinary, even if he were to win a couple of novice races I just couldn't have him on my mind in the Spring. Coming into last season he was 25/1 for a repeat bid at the Stayers and that did appeal as he only just lost in 2016 and was still unexposed at the trip but a full season geared around that race and trip ended up well beaten in all his 3 mile runs.

He's had 4 seasons over hurdles and 33 runs in total. Despite only being 7 he's a horse who's found his ceiling and unfortunately he now finds himself too high for handicaps yet not quite top class to compete in the best races. Looks more like a throw of the dice and hope for the best with few other options rather than it being a natural progression or that that will improve him

Do you know I nearly posted that I really liked it too at work today BC but thought I better go home and check because I think I've got something similar on!....

I went for Samcro any race a little bit higher up... but really like Santini BC and Kalahnikov FM.

I do like Topofthegame and want to get him involved somewhere too, but Samcro and Santini are slightly ahead in my pecking order at the moment for the RSA
