I wudnt be keen to dismiss Blow by Blows chances over two miles, obviously the long lay off is a worry, but the winner of the festival bumper he won usually goes on to run in the Supreme the following year if they are fit enough to do so. I wonder if he might be an interesting outsider for the Supreme, although the lay off does put me off at the moment.

I remember the preseason stable tour last year highlighting how huge he was and the fact they were surprised he did so well in bumpers. I think he's that old cliche 'staying chaser in the making' and 'whatever he does over hurdles is a bonus' type.

I'm not dismissing him completely but he has to go and show that he still retains all of his ability. He's not an ante post betting proposition for me.

Thanks for that, they rang through and declined for me but that was back in aug/Sep. That's good news. they let me put any stake on in shop last year. Down to Penny's online.

I had the same experience a couple of months ago. The any race market with Hills has a lot more listed than Paddys, scanning for value now

The most notable thing that I took from it is that Douvan is likely to go up in trip. The King George would be some race if Thistlecrack, Sizing John, Douvan and might bite lined up.
