Champion Hurdle 2020

Good move taking the 40/1 lads. Sat on a nice price for sure, even if I'd be surprised if she came here.

The way this weekends going.
The winner of the next handicap at fairyhouse will be in the top 10 of the betting for this race :highly_amused:

Won't be laughing when hes ridden along at half way, then runs up the hill to snatch a 3rd at the mighty age of 10.

Supasundae.

Won't be for everyone but he's a bet at 40s ew for me, as per my own thread.

My thinking behind it below.

Easy to laugh but I can easily see him in the frame. There's plenty of horses in the race that wont run. Supasundae will. He goes at christmas, then at the Dublin racing festival. And I'd bet anyone that he wont be anywhere near 40/1 there, even though he always comes on for the run. I cant see a point where he will be bigger at any stage. His record in the 2m grade 1s speak for itself. And the hill will really help, there'll be plenty paddling at that stage, and he'll be staying on. Not out of all realms of possibility that he gets up, such as the race we have.*

Buveur dair*
Honey suckle*
Envoi allen*
Bennie des dieux
Laurina*
Are all very unlikely runners.*

Pentland hills*
Fusil raffles*
Coeur sublime*
Silver streak*
Epatante
Elixir de nutz
Corner stone lad
Band of outlaws*
Labaik*
Aramon
Envoi allen*
Laurina

Have all not ran to the level of which supasundae has.*

And very arguably unless you think sharjah ran to his best 1st time up
Neither have klassical dream/ saldier.*

When you look at that list of intended runners it really is a wide open race, hopefully Klassical Dream comes on a lot for his last run

Supasundae
Don’t believe anyone with an iota of intelligence would laugh Scooby
Far worse ew plays .

Champion Hurdle atm looks really uninspiring
My hope is that KD settles and improves hurdling and comes home a worthy Champion for the sake of the race ......
and my pocket :highly_amused:

Was going to say that myself HP. Can't see how anyone could pick holes in him for this race either.

I can def give Supersundae a shot at a place....but can’t see how he wins

Usually need minimum 165ish RPR to win, so question is who might be capable of that....most likely progressing to that

Supersundae will be 10 and has pretty much never run to high enough level anywhere....but might run 160 at push

Mullins 3 still look most likely.....tho the marvellous (love her) Honeysuckle ran 160 (ie 167) yesterday and still improving! If she goes here, I think likely winner....tho not been LH

Possible improvers at long prices.....Elixir De Nutz (great hurdler and on course, but miles to find), Epatante (know everyone disagrees, but I think will at least go here) and Couer Sublime are all good odds

Think Kev was talking about double opps when NRNB.....Mares day with Honeysuckle and Benie be fab tho not great odds

They may come to Kempton on boxing Day instead?!

You're Willie Mullins, you ran them against eachother already- you factor in anything could happen between now + the day with KD or Sharjah. Weather gods could do anything + not allow him to run in England.

This is Willie Mullins, he's 1/100 to enter him on previous surely.

Almost certainly would be dual entered

Someone on twitter has asked Joe Chambers. I'll be refreshing regularly :)

Don't want to frighten Saldier backers, but he's not entered over xmas at Leop.....

Bit annoying, now the rumour mill goes ten to the dozen and the price fluctuates until we get an answer

PP/Betfair go 6's on the back of that
