Id rather back Laurina at 6/1 for the CH than Kalashnikov at the same price for the Arkle.
N.a. it's not that same case. I think I put somehwere above @ 20/1 id take the risk but only with 365 and ew. Because I'd want to be able to get out. As I think there would be a fair chance id need to if there's a race pre chelt with most of the big guns in.
Ah okay, fair point.
365 have really altered ante post haven't they - I hope others follow suit.

True... was just responding to someone saying Laurina is the worst price of any horse at the Festival but forgot to use the quote function!
Haha, fair enough.
Every horse quoted at Cheltenham is a worse price than Don Poli to win the Grand National though so we might as well close up the forum and wait until April when I win so much that I buy the internet.:very_drunk:
Hope Michael & Eddie don't throw their toys out of the pram and pull him out again then!
You'd be better off backing Penhill at 7/1 or Tiger Roll at 5/1 though!
I think the prestige around the CH makes people want to have a bet doesn't it... as a betting race this just is absolutely no where near the top of my thoughts right now.
Obviously its an open forum to discuss the festival though so I can see why we're having so much traffic in this thread!![]()
Can't wait to see if the cap fits tomorrow. If he's a CH contender he wins the and wins it well. Had a few quid at 11/4 and will reinvest in the big one if he does the business as he should
Just backed him for tommorow, and race looks good. Bit worried Verdana Blue may be a different animal this year though.
I like ITCF for tomorrow too, but have watered my bet down slightly as Fry's stable form isnt a given.
I walked the course and decided everything was fine for him. He’s been jumping out of his skin at home and is crying out for a run.
He’s got a bit to find on ratings with the likes of Verdana Blue and We Have A Dream, but it’s a competitive race and we’re just looking forward to getting him started.
We’re going there hoping that the dream can still be alive afterwards, so there’s a real balance of the excitement of having him fit and ready to go, and also an element of nerves.
There’s a lot of belief in him and we certainly wouldn’t be running him in the race if we didn’t think he could be very competitive.
