“We have to see what gets there first, and then I can worry about that on the Sunday before Cheltenham. If all three horses got there, she would be a tough one to get off — and if she had to go straight to Cheltenham without another run, it wouldn’t bother me.”

Ruby knows...

You missed a bit

.“Whatever we have for the Champion Hurdle, she is the most unexposed. Sharjah has improved out of all recognition, and I’m sure Melon will run in the Irish Champion Hurdle

Buveur D'air gets beat once by a short head when obviously Henderson undercooked him,was complacent by Henderson in thinking the race was a given. This is a two time Champion hurdle who is electric over the hurdles.Laurina doesn't jump quick enough in comparison,BVD will take lengths out of Laurina at each hurdle,Apples Jade is brilliant but the two runs so far has had no opposition.Faugheen may have beaten her had he stood up.Laurina is a two and a half miler and has a far better chance of beating Apples Jade than BVD but maybe BDD will beat her again anyway. My point though is the Mares race for me is the easier for Laurina.

No doubt way easier. But if she dosent have another run. She's not going to get beat. So they'd go CH.

If she does have another run. It's not going to be on decent ground with sharjah and Melon in opposition.

We won't find our whether the confidence in her is misplaced until the CH.

I'll be sick if it's team tactics and they hold everything up, laurina goes off infront and is allowed a soft lead. And nothing wants to make up the ground early from his other runners to give her a freebie.

Only way I see she could win.

It's all about clever editing. :highly_amused:

Buveur also only beat Melon a head. He's hardly got an unbeatable record.

Laurina is a two and a half miler? I don't think that's proven yet?

The bookies have AJ and BDA both very short so it's not clear cut.

Faugheen might have beaten AJ over 3m (don't see why if you watched the race) but even so AJ is defo a 2m4f horse anyway so doesn't prove anything

A different question, at Aintree over 2m4f who would be fav, Apples Jade or Buveur D'air?

Few things I'd question on this...
mainly because they're assertions/opinions of yours given as though they are facts (probably just the way you write)
(their could be truth in them, and people may have said these things, but they're not facts)

Obviously Henderson undercooked him ? - not sure we know this for a fact
Complacent by Henderson ? - not sure he's known for being complacent
electric over the hurdles -nearly all of the time, yes, but can forget to jump every now and then
Laurina doesn't jump quick enough - not enough evidence to suggest this really
Will take lengths out at each hurdle - yet to be seen, but could happen I'll give you that
Apples Jade has no opposition - she did though didn't she ?
Faugheen may have beaten her had he stood up - difficult one that, but I'd imagine most would say not.
Laurina is a 2 and a half miler ? - Think that's too early to say for certain
Far better chance beating apples jade than Buvuer Dair and the mares race would be easier - doubt either would be easy as to which is easiest will depend on who turns up. And Apples Jade has better form this season on paper.

Other than that I agree.:devilish:

Fingers crossed Mullins has the trainers championship in the bag so both he and Elliot send some to Aintree and we find out!

There is a way then ?
Slowly but surely you're coming round.

Lets hope we get to see it, as It'll be a good laugh on here, one way or another.

Bit of 7's on the exchange... very small bit

Someone must be confident she's not going for the Mares. Must be odds on she goes there still

That is the same way iv said before.
Everyone's saying she'll be held up so if she is then good luck.

The only way I see it is...

Ie 2m Wicklow brave punchestown.
Faugheen 3m punchestown.

Highland reel v found in the breeders cup turf would be a good example.

Even then aslong as barry gerraghty is wise to it, she'd be picked up no bother.

She's going to win by 16 lengths.

Shes the best horse in the world.

Only Verdana Blue for her to worry about

Be surprised if she gets a soft lead though - if Buvuer is in the field.
but like you've said, we've seen it happen before.

I said at start of season I thought they might keep her well away from the others till March , but if they only have the one run against one average horse, then that'll be something else.
The hype will go into overdrive as everyone will jump to conclusions that she's extraterrestrial (especially if ruby does opt to ride)

Just hope we get to see it now after all the idle chat.
