Im mulling over whether to have a nibble of the 5's Powers are currently offering on Politologue. Unbeaten this season and was visually very impressive in the Tingle Creek, less so at Kempton but that run was just over two weeks after Sandown and he was entitled to not be as sharp. Altior has obviously had his problems and Politologue will strap the fitter on Saturday, if he turns Altior over he'll be half the price he is now. All this is provided Altior shows up i know NH has come out and said he's not definitely running.

I have a feeling one of them will pull out of the race this weekend
If they don’t, then I’m expecting a Altior to have a very challenging race, and wouldn’t be surprised if they looked after him instead of ruining his chances at the festival.

I'll more than likely be following suit on that before the weekend.
I can't see Politologue not lining up. Nicholls stated straight after his Kempton win he'd be going to the Game Spirit to sharpen up for Cheltenham and he'll have no problems if the ground is on the soft side.

Politilogue has had a beautiful season ... I think after this weekend at best he'd still be a similar price though wouldn't he? If Altior was ruled out, Min would harden and Politilogue probably still be an each way price?

Surely he'd shorten if he turned Altior over Kev. Which isn't out of the realms of possibility...

Politologue to beat the pair at Chelts
Intriguing race as both are expected to come on for the run as it is a stepping stone for Cheltenham.
We still have the Douvan thing to consider- could be rock up first time out in the Champion Chase?

Theres no reason to think altior willl bomb or not make it. he's still top dog by a good margin.
Hobday's have an exceptional success rate. And it was only done as a precaution. He's had loads of time I wouldn't be worried at all

I do not think Politilkogue is that good, He beat San bemedeto by 2 & 1/4L UDS beat that horse 71L then he beat Fox Norton 1/2L but norton got beat by Altior by 13L and his last race he beat Vaniteux (hmmm) but only because Special Tiara fell when going well. I can not see why he is 3rd fav at 7/2 with that form. Not a bad horse but surely not a CC horse?

Hes not up to winning a CC. Awful price. He's priced on the others not making it. And poss the ew angle.
To be totally honest and not to be horrible about the horse but I can not see him in the first 3 and thats without Douvan running..
For me its a two horse race Altior and Min the best two novices two years ago, and the third best novice was BVD and we know he is pretty good for another race..
