Breeder’s Cup

Think frankie just topped Ryan's ride on Unquestionable

Inspiral was much the best horse would've been a very unlucky loser had she not got up

Ryan couldn't have given warm heart a better ride either tbf

Took 16s for Warm Heart to win the F&M Turf around the time of her Yorkshire Oaks victory, theres still some 9/2 available and I'd say theres still some juice in that price. The track and ground is absolutely made for her and aslong as she gets a decent position, I don't see her beat. Looking at likely opponents, Nashwa is heading to Ascot for her 'end game' which sounds doubtful for a US bid, Tahiyra's participation depends on whether she will stay in training next year (both the trainer and jockey seem hopeful she can) which casts a doubt on her turning up, Emily Upjohn is as inconsistent as anything and you'd be taking a chance of which one will turn up, BRC likely to end her season at Longchamp in the Opera and then you're getting down to the likes of Via sistina who wont be turning up on that sort of ground.

Sickening.. just sickening...

:torn:

Best horse won the day with Inspiral :courage:

Those two no hopers going off like the clappers and setting a suicidal gallop got mawj beat

What a horse, and what a jockey to win there. Big shout out to Saxon for putting the horse up so early.

American jockeys are braindead wtf is joel rosario doing on clariare???

I don't even know why us English/irish back the American horses, their drive is so so poor in general. Plenty examples the past 2 days of horses looking like theyve a 7lb claimer aboard them:watermelon: You'd mistake a couple for thinking they're in a Pertemps Qualifier.

I think we’re all being a little bit guilty of recency bias on the jockey front
We should all know that the European horses generally are better on turf anyhow and
The US jockeys are far better on the whole out of the gates and gaining early positions and probably not as good in a finish. Most US races are won at the start.

The last dirt race idiot won was a strange one though. I thought the front 2 were going to get swamped- but no

Clariere would surely have won if the gaps had opened

Horse has been very unlucky in the race, she'd have won it 2 years ago had she not got dragged wide at the top of the straight

Auguste rodin had no luck at all early on, got shuffled back by up to the mark

But then loads of luck at the end

Opened up like the red sea for moses down the inside

ryan moore is the dogs bollocks

I'd be giving the horse most of the credit for having the bravery to go through that tight gap on the home turn round a very sharp bend

Have a feeling he will make a very good sire

Been a good day for me

Bit gutted about the just for fun trixie I had on Inspiral, mawj and Auguste Rodin

But all I need to make a good profit today was one of mawj or rodin winning

MV Magnier saying he could stay in training, would be interesting

Wasn't exactly arrogate vs california chrome or flightline that was it

Could've called white abario the winner after 4 furlongs though

Jockey went way too quick on Arabian knight having got to the front

Ryan Moore was mustard on AR. Great result.

Jockey would need to have put his head up first :highly_amused:
At one point I thought none of them would get to the line and they'd all collapse or slow to a walk. Very strange finish, and IMO I don't think clariere would have won, the horse got a dream run round the inner on the home turn and even though the gap closed, the horse was going no gallop and he never seemed to have to stop, at least nothing obvious anyway.
