Ballymore Novice Hurdle 2020

Looks like it’s a case of Elliot bingo this year as opposed to Mullins bingo....

Im not alone in thinking Elliot has said Envoi Allen looks like Ballymore will be the aim.

I could swear I've heard or read that.

I think he might have.
But he hasn't repeated is as often as he did with Samcro.
And he LIES about this horse all the time:devilish:

Elliott's usual obsession with 2 miles then haha

They can all move around. JP has the one with willie they ran yesterday too, hes not a hype machine winning by 10L on the bridle. But some will have ran in better races than others. Time will tell if its style over substance.

I'd second that.
Best not to get too giddy.
even if you land on one that wins at the Christmas festival or the Dublin festival, you're still got a long wait.

You seemed pissed off on the supreme thread ?
Dissociative Identity Disorder ?

Just your perverbial glass half full man me. Take it on the chin and move on. Never look back.

The yard will have spanked Envoi Allen for the Ballymore, same as they did with Samcro. Both cases exactly the same and can’t see them deviating no matter what.

Andy Dufrense was 15.0 for the supreme after his win earlier, now matched at 32.0 which tells a story. I personally think Andy will run in this race and if Malone is out then they could well run Envoi in the supreme. We’re a good way out at this stage so lots can happen

If when why what how much have you got?

Back to a topic that does not require a crystal ball; Monkfish runs tomorrow and could provide a form boost to Elixr D’anay and Longhouse Poet should he run well.

A half-brother to Waiting Patiently, he has looked a high-class prospect from day one and had a fantastic season in bumpers, when his victories included the Grade 2 at Aintree. He’d come back with sore shins after failing to come down the hill at Cheltenham earlier on. It’s been a struggle getting the weight off this autumn and he’s been a bit behind the others fitness-wise, so I’d expect him to come on enormously for his run at Chepstow last week. He didn’t hurdle fluently and will have to improve his jumping in order to progress. Although we started off at 2m we’ll step up to 2m4f next time.

Could be pocket talk here, but they are a very punty stable. The money was down, like Samcro, and I suspect they'll stick to the plan

I'd agree with that, but it's 8-1 across the board now for the supreme (the yard might have had some savers as well)

A couple of them are on for life changing amounts of money. They've also smashed Malone Road for the Supreme ever since the first day he schooled. For the record, I was told he's fine but they're not prepared to risk him yet because of a small setback that he's now over. That was as of yesterday so I don't know where Lobos has heard he's out for the season.

Got to worry about him being good enough 1st.

I dont believe for a second that envoi and Abacadabras will meet in the royal bond ( envoi might sneak off to the monksfield) but, if they do, its no foregone conclusion . AC
was mighty impressive today. You can throw the bumper form in the bin, and it Wouldnt surprise me one bit if he beat EA over 2.

I have nothing to back this expect personal opinion but I think JP will make the call and choose Blue Sari for Supreme, Dluaro for Ballymore and Andy Dufresne for AB.

You can’t have a JP novice hurdle list without Chantry House included. He’s another that I’d have down for the Ballymore too. Seems like JP has landed himself a whole bunch of potentially smart horses, all for the same race.

What!! Did I say he was out for season!!?? Bloody hope not.

If anyone has backed Envoi Allen for life changing amounts then they must have put a lot on.
