Ballymore Novice Hurdle 2020

Anyone watching Get in ? I told you i got a response from Dicky about being scared of EA. Thought i was ask him again now that they confirmed Bally more EA.
 
Bit of blue on oddschecker for Shishkin. Presumably, some Supreme backers wetting themselves at the prospect of the Huntingdon entry.

Speed track and likely ordinary field. Doubt it will provide many clues and I can't see him moving.

Contrast the way he was ridden at Newbury compared to Asterion Forlonge at Leopardstown. One for foot, the other for stamina. I don't think that was a smokescreen.

TBF there aren’t many that would back him at the current price. We could all pick better chances of winning on even money chances on any day of the week than EA in the Ballymore.

Not backing on value grounds is one thing Saxon, but would take a brave man to lay it IMO.

Someone should ask when he’s putting this up on this Exchanges and at what price!

He’s just become a bitter, contrary “shock jock” type tipster. He freely admits to not even watching a lot of races anymore. And last year he admitted he’d forgotten which days were on which course in March, but that “it didn’t matter”.

Hipsters like that do my nut, just be honest with yourself, envoi allen is a likely winner..there are plenty with chances though and on the day the "bet without" market will be a good shout

I used to know someone very senior at the bible and they told me he played for small stakes only, same Kevin Pullein (football)

Only the profitable are restricted so I imagine he can bet what he wants. Probably pays the bills by backing, tipping then laying off once everyone piles in having read the RP.

I think if I was having a drink in the pub with my mate, and he wanted a match bet on Envoi Allen and I could have the rest of the field (as an even money/heads&tails type of bet) I would definitely have that bet with him. Not big stakes of course, a fun bet for a pint or two.

He also said he wouldn't back something at 100/1 (I've actually forgotten the horse) but he's under the guise of 'Pricewise' .... whichever horse it was, is a fantastic bet at 100/1.

I turned it off. He was actually annoying me and life is too short to get annoyed listening to something I actually like :D

One of Elliott’s stars who did not run at the weekend was Envoi Allen, and the trainer suggested the Ballymore Novices’ Hurdle will be his destination next month.


“We toyed with running him but he’s had three runs, won two Grade Ones and we had nothing to gain and everything to lose so he’ll go straight there (Cheltenham),” said Elliott.


“Nearly every second race at Leopardstown his form tied in, so it’s rock solid.


“If I had to say right now which race, I’d have the Ballymore in my head unless the ground is very soft.


“A lot of people are talking about the Champion Hurdle, but I’m a big believer in keeping them in the races I think they can win and at the moment I think that’s the Ballymore.”

The bookie that sponser him at 25/1 though which is standout by an absolute mile.


I wouldn't back it, I'd just be paying towards someones expenses or Christmas party etc....

Don't you have to back EA @ 6/1 NRNB with Sky for the CH as cover if nothing else compared to 7/2 for Honeysuckle
 
Hi all.
I think you do Pendil, although it’s highly unlikely he goes for it - if he wins the Bally there will be inevitable questions about contesting the CH next year. If the horse is an intended chaser why not go straight to the race this year, then move on with a chasing career if unsuccessful.
It must be on their minds. Fair NRNB price.
