Ballymore Novice Hurdle 2019

Just back Birchdale for the RSA next season and be done with it :p

DD is not ready for the AB would be a mistake to run him.

Battleoverdoyen wins the RSA next year. Can see him doing a Denman this year, long term by far the best horse in this race

Seems very split as of where Birchdale going this season, if wins at weekend and well surely goes here?

....money for Easy Game in this according to Oddschecker.

As I said his last run was more speed/class than a dour staying performance. Will be fav if he beats Battleoverdoyen next week. Ruby likes him.

Assume you mean most popular bets. Under chelt festival. Which refreshes at midnight. Would take 1 bet to put him on that list. Malone road at 6/1 for the champion bumper is the next on the same list.

Battleoverdoyan reminds me of Santini and by that I mean he will be a good hurdler but great chaser. I think it will be placed at Chelts, not winning, but would be a great bet for RSA next year.

I still can't get away from Commander of Fleet for this. Yes, he's beat nothing to note and lost when running over an inadequate trip LTO, but if you watch that replay he came round the bend absolutely cruising and got done for a turn of foot.

I will be disappointed if we see him over 2m again this weekend, he has an entry over 2m 6f so i'm hoping this is the route they decide to go down as i'm heavily invested in this race.

Should he go and win this weekend over 2m 6f, I can see him fighting for favoritism for this come March!

You can forgive his last run but you're not being compensated enough at 20/1.

...I was, yes. Appreciate the information, I genuinely wasn’t aware of that. Still, taken a bit of insurance with Easy Game @ 25-1 NRNB in this as well as backing it in the AB.

Birchdale

"He was very good at Warwick and the race has worked out well with the second, third and fifth all winning since. I liked the style of his win and he did it like one that would progress from it.*

This is a good test for him, there are some very smart prospects in opposition.*

Jarveys Plate*was impressive last time in beating a horse that was well fancied and*Brewin’Upastorm*has also looked a nice horse. He is giving up experience to both of them and if he can rise to the challenge, it will put him bang up there with the likes of Champ"

Jarvey's Plate has to give them all 5lb tomorrow, that'll probably be enough to see him not winning but hoping he still shows up well regardless of that. IF he wins, he must become a serious player, for those who haven't already taken him seriously anyway.

All the money for birchdale, again is for the ballymore.

Not disputing he comes here. Though the amount of money is hardly significant, unless I've missed a plunge on the exchange in the past hour or so. I've backed Birchdale too so if he wins it's not a bother for me, but just like Jarvey's Plate, he left an impression on me.

Battleoverdoyen
Birchdale
Jarvey's Plate

Had Brewin'upastorm but cashed that, so hoping he don't bite me in the backside, though have him in a couple of dutched multi's.

Wasn't aimed in response . Just a general observation. Sea of blue on oddschecker for the ballymore. Was general 33s very recently.

And nothing for the bartlett in that time period.

Hopefully that's a decent hand as it's the same as mine bar the latter

"asked about champagne Platinum and I’m pleased to report that he absolutely fine and will probably have one more run before Cheltenham. We’re thinking of keeping him to two miles (and Barry tends to agree) because we’ve already got the 2m4f division covered with the likes of champ and much of it also depends on what happens with birchdale tomorrow"
