Arkle 2020

Didn't think he looked a natural over fences though CoD... did you?

Quite a few of PN's are running below par.

Bar the first fence I didn't see too many major errors myself, not for first time out anyway.

He'll likely improve and be fitter next time, but I'm not convinced he'll be the Nicholls number one over 2m.

His Arkle was just before I had got the bug... why does he remind you of TB?

Both run style and head carriage.

There was a big debate whether Ho Jo was going to target the Arkle or RSA (no JLT then) with Tidal Bay and from memory he left it very late before committing. He blew them away on the day.

I was at Doncaster for Tidal bay's first run over 2 miles, sent off at 1/4 against nothing of note, and jumped like an idiot. His prep run for the arkle.
He'd won his first three races over 2m 4f plus and always threw in at least one big error.
When at Cheltenham I thought he had no chance and a couple of mates of mine backed him at 10-1, and he just went on a couple out and battered them, jumped pretty well throughout.

I remember the Donny race Q. He hit the last (or second last) and nearly got back up to win.

Tried looking for the 2008 Arkle but can't find it anywhere.

Either way I’m happy enough to miss him out and stick with Trumpy.

Make the case for trumpy again.... a lot of time for your opinions... but I'm lost on this one :p

At season preview earlier and heard Mullins stable tour coming out tomorrow

Laurina going chasing.....odds already tumbling.....some 14s still around.....supposed to be on the stable info

Should stress info based on text received by someone on panel, so can’t verify if true

Just on Fridays declaration Paul unlikely to send him out in such high company first time out if they all stand their ground

Odds tumbling? , not been a pence for her from what I can see. PP pushed her out from 8s to 12s 2 days ago for the arkle.

Not as close to market as you.....just noticed most at 8s....info was from someone at another stable, but UK one .....just sharing what I heard and have taken some 14s

Fingers crossed 😀

Iv just tweeted jared Sullivan's racing manager, whether he replys or not is another thing. :)

All he said is that shes not near a run and "not fit enough to even think about it yet. Willie wouldn't even know and will decide"

Thanks Scooby.

I'm still waiting on this Stable Tour that I was told would be today! I was specifically told it would be this morning, but the morning is slowly leaving us, so they best crack on with it!

Edit: Bit embarrassing, but just questioned when the WPM ST will be put up and it seems it could be tomorrow and not today, however, the information regarding Laurina still stands. Sorry chaps.

Don't be sorry. Good enough of you to share info like this in the first place. I've always thought Laurina would go chasing this year and this just backs it up. JLT all the way for me.

Wonder if this means something has happened regarding Melon going chasing?

No need to apologise CoD. Im sure everyone on here appreciates info given in good faith like this.

I'd imagine they'd be split up tbh, provided the info is bang on

I have also noted that despite her going chasing for the season ahead, there is every chance she could do a BDD and end up over hurdles for the festival. It is Willie after all, Mullins bingo applies to pretty much every one of his horses this far out.
