Arkle 2019

You'd have to say Pingshou and Melon cut each others throats up front and Cilaos Emery picked up the pieces.

He's ran since then. And achieved a fair mark of 159. Wherever Mick jazz is over 2. Cilaos emery is right there.
Not bad for a scopey chaser in the making.

He's certainly of interest.

Time for the irish to show their hand.

Paloma Blue
Mengli Khan
Draconien
Cilaos Emery
Bapaume
Getabird

Who will lay down the biggest challenge to Lalor/Kalashnikov

Don't forget Labaik @ 50/1 :)

Paloma Blue & Mengli Khan would be interesting enough.

Looking forward to Shady Operator if he takes up his entry, a dark horse I've got in mind for the JLT.

First off the bridle and outstayed Melon. Mick Jazz travelled all over it. Doesn't look like a fast horse. Also if you watch the 2017 Supreme they tried to make all and got outpaced.

CE lost a shoe in the Supreme when finishing 5th. Came out at Punchestown and put them all to the sword. Im a big fan of the horse, but an Ankle horse????

Would now explain the small cut in price with PP & Betfair, as they both have entries in that beginners chase.

I've always thought Cilaos Emery would suit fences, he can be quite keen and clearly has tonnes of ability. Mick Jazz hasn't exactly done badly has he?

Fair enough if you don't fancy him, but he's got pretty good form in the context of this years Arkle contenders.

Anyone know when we are likely to see Draconien?

I've no information but if they are planning a sparing schedule for him, there's a beginners at the Leopardstown Christmas meeting giving a nice break to the Dublin Festival.

They said they would mind him didn't they, so sounds like you are bang on

2 runs before an Arkle wouldn't be ideal would it?
