Ante Post for National Hunt 2021-2022 Season

Well, he has the entry but the yard are in horrendous form right now. As bad as I can recall.

I was reading that Paul's horses had their flu jab over Christmas and he was hopeful that they can start firing again soon. Stable form does look very mediocre at the moment though.

Alongside Dolos, I'm also going back to an old favourite in voix du reve who gets the entry I expected him to get in the Scottish county hurdle. His record at musselburgh is excellent and although I was very sweet on him last time, he appeared to be second fiddle to a well backed stable mate. My assumption (now) is that this was the target and he's 14/1 with paddy. I've used a free bet to double him with Dolos who has an obvious chance in the sandown race at 12/1 with them, notwithstanding the terrible stable form. Extremely hopeful of at least the place double!

Voix Du Reve apparently declared at Kelso on Thursday, doubt he'd run in both races so this could easily be a free bet down the poo-poo. Good from me :boxing:

Cobden is jocked up on Tamaroc Du Mathan for the same owner and with Bryony in Ireland and Lorcan at Musselburgh, it doesn't look particularly promising for the Dolos long term angle on Saturday! Makes the decision to skip Lingfield even more surprising.

Of the conditionals, Cheleda is also jocked up at Muss on Wild Max, which just leaves Ben Bromley who could take 5lb off, but I can't really say I'm confident of a run right now.

Yep - all very strange, but it must be a bit of a lump job on Tamaroc if he's taking Dolos place I'm thinking? If he bolted up, it would explain Dolos not going anywhere.

Cobden now jocked up on Dolos, Bowen on Tamaroc.

9/2 generally but still 7/1 Coral if anyone interested in Dolos. Form over CD at Sandown outside of the Grade 1 Celebration Chase is 2112 and this is the lowest mark he's run off in a handicap chase at Sandown...

Get in ya beauty! Absolutely taken the piss plotting that back up for that.

Great shout :encouragement: I never doubted you :devilish:

Top work with Dolos

Yep cracking shout that

Cant believe he went off 10s

Having a look at the betfair hurdle and none of the novices are really appealing to me now that elle est belle and Washington are out

Most of the rest have been so easily beaten by jonbon and Constitution hill im not sure how well treated they are

Do like JPR one but not a massive fan of the tizzards and hes very short

Going for soaring glory and tritonic at 7s and 12s

Both won handicaps very easily this season and only 4lb and 5lb higher

Any fancies for the Irish National? Assume this is the best place to discuss... Hoping to get a decent chance to have a look myself over the next couple of days.

Enjoy D'allen if they run him as he fell at the first in the national, still holds an entry in the Irish

Max Flamingo for me. Has some decent Fairyhouse form including including a win and a 3rd to Gabynako and Fury Road.

Trainer has been aiming him at this all season.

His whole plan is the Irish National and he is entered. The weights are out next week, but he is rated 142 and should get in. I don't know if this will affect his handicap mark or not but I don't think the second horse is a 142-rated horse. so he probably ran to his mark. I didn't really want to win our beginners chase at this time of year but we were disappointed with his jumping the last day so we said we'd go for this. Denis said he loved the ground but wouldn't want it any quicker. He'll run in the Irish National next and us small men have to dream big! Francis Casey

….taken 36-1 e/w (1-6) with Lads boost for Aramax in the Irish National. Had the quality to win a Boodles and whilst he’s not seen success over bigger obstacles, 6yo can win this race.

I’ve had a few good words re: Max Flamingo & do fancy his chances with a bit of luck in running. Not much juice left in the price but have had a good cut at a boosted 11/1 with Ladbrokes.
